I say no to FB too. Have account but never posted anything. I think I have 3 friends and they use it. Rarely do I look - After all - if I have to get an email that tells me they posted something so "go look" - I already know it's not intended for me or they would have sent me an email. Doh.

Hey - RVM1 - Got Rope Lights!

Hey thanks RVM4 - Not fit for a nice fire like you had last weekend - still too windy but managed to have a productive day. All the bays are sorted out right.

This little guy came by a while ago asking if we'd seen you. Click image for larger version

Hey - RVM1 - Got Rope Lights!
That looks like freekin snakes! I'd shoot em and fry em.

No. No rope lights!

I am on FB to post pictures for all of my friends (and they are true friends). FB is where they reside, and I contribute what they enjoy seeing. It is really an extension of my blog. My Grands do not do stupid stuff (silly, yes). They have been well parented!

I even found friends that I missed very much, and reconected with them! Some from over 40 years ago. So, dont sell FB short. You can control the content. My posts there are totally suitable for all.

But, there is some good entertainment on FB, from the stupid, that cannot be fixed!

And you passed up a chance at fishing because there was a mild chill, RVM2?Wuss!

And need some cleaning - along with the two fans that came out of the Norlcold. Gonna mount the fans in elect bay to move air around the VC50 and SP and stuff. Will do the them tomorrow. Hope to clean, lube and load the reels tonight. A few more in a tackle box to work through too me thinks. Can't do it all in a day!
Off to cook some duck. I mean chicken.

So let's see...
You went to a lake
Had tackle
Bait is under the next rock
And you cleaned fans.

I was in Dallas today--took my yearbook staff to Six Flags. As the bus passed the exit to Cedar Hill SP, I was thinking how nice it would be out there today, although a little chilly. :(

Here you go. Below is a Poem I was published for. It was written to my wife a millennium ago. We were going through some financial difficulty at the time and she asked me how I can deal with it so calmly. I told her it's like an "Inner Strength" I have. It's my philosophy in life.

The next morning, I got up and wrote this to her. This poem has been all over the world through requests by friends and family. It just seems to help some how in tough times no matter what they are!

Hope you enjoy!

INNER STRENGTH

There are times like these

You could drop to your knees,

As you wonder how much you can take.

But as some people know
 with their troubles in tow,

there is always a choice
 they can make.

To drown in our sorrows,

Saps up our tomorrows,

And makes everything in our lives
 seem bleak.

So, just count your blessings

And not your misgivings,

And somehow you'll not feel so weak.

Just change what you can,

Put the rest on a shelf,

And keep misery at an arm's length.

For it's the wealth of those

Who can conquer their woes,

That's the secret to "Inner Strength!"

I couldn't write my way out of a paper bag even if the inside was coated with peanut butter.

DW however is a different story. She's the English major. She really gets on me when I say, "I ain't got no....." Wonder why?
