Hey Barb! I'm pretty sure we would have been on the s-list of commuters if we had broken down in rush hour traffic (which apparently starts at 3 p.m.) We lived in Baton Rouge in the early '90s so we have traveled that bridge and route to Houston many, many times.

I'm just glad our first "breakdown" was fairly benign, and that the nice young man from Coach-net was out in the downpour changing that tire!!

I hope I get to share another beer with Miss Sena someday soon.

Thanks, Di! It was great meeting you all! We hated to miss the rest of the festivities, but we don't regret missing the hail! I hope everyone with damage is getting their rigs/toads repaired without too much hassle.

Ray says "hi"!!

Keep an eye out for Barney Fife if you travel through Georgia.

Look at the way Barney has parked his patrol car! That's not the best space to cheat a bit of ground out of!!! Wonder what was on his mind?

It happened again! Although smaller ones are found often, yesterday a 4 1/2 carot Diamond was found at Crater of Diamonds State Park in AR!

Cool. Washington State also has a challenge that you can get a geocoin for doing 50 or 100 state park caches. Do you know about the Delorme challenge? AR's is GC14TRP. Each state has one and would have probably been easy to do while you were doing the SP caches. My caching name is ogeo & DH's is ISplash. We have done a few more caches than you. LOL. We are a little addicted.

It's a gorgeous morning at Hinton in Sikeston. Would love to just hang out today but need to move on to make Normal on time. 3 hours today to Effingham and a bit less tomorrow. Dad's birthday is Friday and we're looking forward to seeing them. Maybe even get some Tobins pizza!

Still working on the first cuppa Joe then pack her up and roll. Looks like a great day for a drive! Back at ya later.

I'm thinking of a new game for Bryce Canyon!
Ok it involves lawn chairs, bring your own, then we give Geocach and Romin Roman some coordinates around the campground. Now for the exercise and fun part, we all set, turn, twist about in our chairs as we watch them run about the campground finding caches!

Here is the best part, each cache can be a cooler of beverages with directions to bring said beverages back to group for scoreing! Depending on how fast they are we could be served drinks for hours!

Who's in?
