OK - all caught up...
Hi Everybody!
Man - much fun was had here today! By here - I mean the thread... the little thread that could.

Lots of laughs. Lots of love.
We're keeping up but it's been tough. Jeff and Marcia leave Wed morning so we're playing ketchup with day trips. Annie and I will stay 2 more days and get at least 1 or 2 more sites checked off the list. Will miss them as they head south and we head west then south to Vegas.

But what fun we've had! The things ya see! No regrets on this decision.

Hope to talk to Dave soon (missed your call Poobah), we were getting ready for a bacon wrapped pork loin dinner with Jeff and Marcia. But we need to talk Arizona...

OK - the air has gotten cool out under the stars. Time to go in and warm up.

Keep on making me laugh... it's good for the lazy soul. Wink Wink. Nudge Nudge...

Congrats Larry and Di on that new Rainbow rider! She is a bute. Now to get Di to agree to trade the Jeep for a new Porche and a trailer to put it on behind the coach!

Suggestion: Search web for: Porsche off road pictures... I could not attach one, sorry... Great looking Off-Road Porsche 911... Would be a great toad..

If you are close to Fort Clinch State Park (FL) NE of Jacksonville, you can look across St Marys River & see GA... We LOVED this park... Good place for a "Shake Down" cruise...

I could not be any more excited for you guys (unless I was trading)... Thanks for sharing your experience, I can feel your excitement...

Yeah! Go collect cans on the side of the highway!

Ok.... Visualize Larry stopping the porsh to climb out and go pick up cans.....

Or better yet, rigging a device to reach out and scoop them up, bet Rezman can make a cover for that device.

And i kinda think that Porsh is a bute, but a brute bute, blonde guy, he is hunking...

Happy thoughts to everyone....

Good morning mutants! It's another fine day in Colorful Colorado. Today we will visit Escalante Canyon. I'll be doing the driving today so you know there won't be washboard roads and rock dodging.

Looks like the Temps will be heading south by the weekend so it's about time for us to do the same.

I can't wait to visit here again one day. Would love to see spring time here as the snow melt will fill the rivers and streams and lakes. There's quite a bit of low water levels here. It's more than made up for by the fall color but I'd like to see spring as well.

Time to empty the tanks - get a shower and ready to see the sites! Have a great day mutants!

Super pics, Steve!!! And that last one, with the mule deer (close to the center of the photo) is great. I think you should see if you can get it made into a jigsaw puzzle.

Dennis, this is a fine example of German engineering on the fly ... or maybe "on the float" ....

Congrats to Steve, Annie, Marcia, and Jeff. Isn't it just great when a vision of great fun, great food, and beautiful visions of this beautiful country materialize so nicely. You four mutants had a great adventure. Thanx for sharing with us folks that are stuck at the S & B's. We, too, want to spend weeks and weeks in Colorado.

BTW, I had more laser work on my left eye. Retina specialist did not like the looks of certain "potential" tears. I'm doing just fine but my cataracts will need removal sooner than I'd like. Left eye again - - it's like looking through a hazy windshield 100% of the time.
