Deb and I will try to make sure we are stocked for the GC. Normally we carry very little, but scotch, vodka, vermouth, triple sec, cranberry juice, olives, and other things will be stocked. It sounds like we will need it with this group!

I Just Learned

I've been seeing this thread for a long time and didn't know it applied to me.

My name is MuddyPaws and I am a Mutant. Is there a 12 step program that will 'cure' this and land us in an Entegra?

My addiction is to windsurfing. I started windsurfing when it was a new sport. One of my older boards is an Advanced Surf Designs Mutant. It's a cross between a slalom board and a wave board built with carbon and Kevlar to withstand SF bay (very rough water most of the time). Does that make me a double mutant?

Muddypaws - I have to say that the Mutant Board is about as close to an automatic entry into the RVMdom as I've ever seen. But alas we have so few requirements for entry that waiving even one just wouldn't be right or fair to the others.

So.... Come back and tell us a thing or two your rig doesn't have and you don't miss and affirm that The Journey is the Destination and RVM56 will be your reward. Well actually the camaraderie with other RVMs is the real reward but the number is your passport to move freely about the rainbow of the RVMdom.

If you have any questions about our history here or how we came to be mutants - just read the first 3 or 4 posts - or all 5,000+ if you're in the mood! I know that I and other RVMs have read your posts elsewhere on the board and would be proud to have you join in our journey.

Let's hear back from you and get this business behind us so that you can share your ponders with the most pondering group on the "tubes". Cowabunga brother! We're the Kokomo of iRV2 and a bay area contingent would be a great addition to our growing mutant ranks.

Muddypaws it looks like your ready to surf the rainbow, just trying to figure out how I could attach a motor to that bad boy board of yours. You know anything good can be improved with a little redneck horsepower!

They already make motorized surf boards. Saw it on the new several weeks ago. It eliminates the need for a jet ski tow to the waves.

Hey Mike - you should reconsider getting a monkey. You could build it a tiny sand rail and start a new racing organization.

I have an HPIBaja RC car already. Probably a little small. It has a 28ish CC 2-stroke motor.

Don't get excited Herb, there's a 39 day margin of error on this, your at day one.

Horsepower

Let's see, what don't we have?

Ain't got 400+ horsepower.
Don't got a residential 'fridge.
Don't got tile or hardwood floors. Not heated floors either.
Don't have corian or granite counters.
No outdoor TV. Missing an outdoor kitchen too.
King size bed? Sadly, no.
Dishwasher? He's right here.
Electric cabinet latches? Nope!
Hi-def satellite? Not yet!
Hi-def DVR? You gotta be kidding.
HDMI cabling throughout? not a chance.
Solar? Not.
Automatic generator start? Uh uh.
AGM batteries? Not a one.

Air freshener? No, but I really need one! I'm sitting in a chair with a snoring retriever on either side of me, one of them is, um, gassy!
