Sometimes life has a way of throwing you curveballs. Here we are, pondering the purchase of a nice new coach and low and behold, a neighbor decides to hang up his wandering shoes and sell his Monaco Dynasty. We went to look at it today. It's a nice, 40' tag axle in very good to excellent condition. It needs a little updating - replace carpeting with new flooring and new TV. We're not terribly fond of the oak cabinetry, but we could stain it a different color. All of the mechanicals are in good order, the tires are 3 years old, the maintenance records are in order, and it has 56K miles on it. It has a new fridge and all the appliances have been upgraded. Our mechanic is going to go look at it on Monday to see if he can find anything that needs attention. It has all the goodies - slides, electric shades, AquaHot, slides in the bays, etc. It's a 2004. Instead of carrying a mortgage, we could pay cash for this rig.

We in a quandary...oh, the humanity!

Well, Bro, I didn't need more excuses to sign in at MMDC, but this is a pretty good lure! You know me and pretty plus history.

My oh my. Elizabeth and Mary, I'll admit to having a soft spot for Monaco. Really sound great.
Dang the cabinets, hope you have found a gem!

Sometimes it is a high, hanging fast ball just waiting to be crushed! Sounds like a good chance you might have found a great deal.

Good luck!

And finally, Mutants .... Can I get a woot for my nephew, O.Brian Parks? In the middle of his grad party, he got an email from the company in Chicago that he interviewed with last week. They offered him the job! "They" are Northrup Grumman, and O.Brian will be working on a project that he can't tell us about. (NG designed the lunar lander.) My guess is he will be working on some "gubmint" project. But we are sooooo proud of him. 19 hours of mechanical engineering courses this last semester and graduated with a 3.85. Woot woot woot, O.B!!!

Good job O.B. And a big WOOT from RVMdom!
My favorite Great Uncle was O.B. When we asked what the B was, he said "Baloney". We still don't know what it really is!
So, keep the secrets, O.B. Parks. You will go far.
It would be grand to meet you one fine day with Mel and Kate! (Secretly, if required)
