As in Catalina Island? How did you get your coach out there? And how many years in advance did you have to make reservations?
I'm wondering what Ben Stein (one of the smartest men in the world) could have said that was offensive.

You be hushed now or I'm going to tell that my hand in that picture was holding your "tail" from swishing!
p.s., did I mention that the following outcome of that meal was an additional $446.22? Tire & labor $306.95. Front end alignment $89.95. Inspect brakes and rotate all tires $19.95 plus front end alignment - not as cheap as your meal the night before.

Catalina SP is in Arizona. As you know - there are tour busses 26 miles across the sea - cars on the island rarely leave - new permits to move a car to the island are like hens teeth. And most of the cars are small. Beautiful place - been many times - but not an RVers destination that I know of.
As for the other question - best left alone here IMHO. Especially given the one who knows the answer can't respond.

Good Morning,
Well we have landed at Apache Junction, the wheel covers are on, my magic carpet ride is leveled and hooked to electricity and water, the awnings are out and its a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Marcia has headed to the grocery store for needed supplies and I'm getting ready to watch the Michigan State vs Michigan game how good is that ? Oh and I'm going to fix peppered BACON for BLT's for lunch. Life is good.
Catalina Island is on my bucket list for some day, I have always wanted to see it. But parking the magic carpet in California is soooooo expensive. Does anyone know of a place near Palm Springs that is reasonable for parking ? Marcia's sister wants us to visit sometime this winter, perhaps after I finish with Yuma.
Oh does anyone know about General Pattons Tank that is supposed to be out in the desert training grounds down near Yuma. if it can be found I'm sure it would be a great Jeep trip.
Cheers !!!

She's 82, but not ready to give up yet and we aren't ready to give her up! I fly home next week to be there for the operation and some recovery time with the old gal.
I hope everything goes well, but as we all know, anytime you go to a hospital, there's always a chance you're not leaving standing up.

Sorry I am catching up on all the pages.
Best wishes, thoughts and prayers for your Mom, you and
your family.
We understand the heart surgery too well.
It sounds like she has the will and drive to do well.
Hope all turns out for the best.
