I will apply next month. We paid for it so our job now is to live long enough to get back what we put in plus reasonable interest. Let's get it started in here. Let's get it started in here!

Mercy sakes. 12 hours of mutant silence. Has to be close to a record. Must be that all of the "chatty" mutants are "on the road again" and the blog is playing second fiddle to some real fun in the form of new adventures on the rainbow.

Ears ringing???? Dave, Steve, Tim, Mel, Richard, Barb, Jeff, Di, Wayne, both Colleens, Sue, Dennis, + others I can't recollect right now (senior moment).

Hi Steve. Hi Mary Ann!!
I'm on the mend here but slowly getting my strength back. It's been 2 weeks and while I feel better, I'm still not 100%. That's kept me a little quiet here. Just trying to enjoy the other mutant ponders, musings and adventures.

I suppose you will be off and running to Maine Event soon. So wish we were going too. I'm thinking we will make small steps when we roll. I think we will go 3 hours north to Maddison WI for a few days - then 2 hours over to visit our friends in Onalaska WI. From there we will stretch our drive time to 4 hours and visit our friends in Amana. From there - short hops to Colorado and on to AZ over the course of several months. It's been a rough go and I'm past ready to be back on the road.

Lol..... Steve, my ears ring all of the time...... And i am having many more senior moments.... Medicare begins Oct 1....
But in the meantime just checking and reading...... But yes, i too miss Tim and Wayne.... Too quiet....

We are in waiting mode.... berkaliner is getting a minor fix at Freightliner, new couch should be in at any time.... Then we need two days and we will be goin on a jaunt.... I like Snakebitten's term.... Up to source of Mississippi River, WI, and MI... Just because we never have... Exciting because i grew up on that river.....

So tentative plans are Tuesday.....
When we do a jaunt launch, i will shout to see who is where...

Marty, not sure if we will do that route coming or going, but if we do get near, i will call ya....
Sue, same.... When are you and Martin launching?

Just a curiosity but ISTR being taught in geography class in grade school that the mighty Mississippi started somewhere up here in Kanukistan? So either my rememories of what I was taught are wrong or something.

Have a fun Jaunt there Di and Larry.

No, in the Lake Itasca, Minnesota area, although the watershed area might extend to Canada.

Btw, in my mind a jaunt is a basically unplanned trip.... We have no reservations.....

Dennis - I will tell you where to meet us, if they won't. How does Colorado sound?

That's OK -- we still have almost 4 weeks. I assume Wayne and Earline will be at the RV Park on the Naval Air Station. I'll do a little research and email ya later today. Keep up the good work. I have to do my own Honey Do's except when we are parked next to you.
