Postpone the dental to another day and come on over.

I just drop the teeth off and pick them up later.

Plan on meeting with Ken.... But we are in east Michigan right now, about a football field away from Lake Huron...

And I am more than a little jealous of all you pirate RVMs.

That all works very well, Barb. 3-5 does it quite evenly. Thanks!
And Sena may have had troubles with all of the one-eyed scoundrels. Because he has Mac, I'm not surprised that Carl has had his pirate garb for a long time.

Ok...remember the mystery squash I posted a couple weeks back? Turns out it is very mild and the outer and inner color are much like spaghetti squash but no strands. The the flavor was more like Summer yellow squash. I cooked it in the oven and then filled the cavities with cooked sausage, chili's,tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms, then heavily sprinkled mozzarella on Bob's, and tried a dairy free, gluten free mozz cheese product on mine... it was ok. So far, one squash has made a supper, a lunch, and looks to be yet another lunch for us ....here's a picture of the squash halved since gardeners always like to see such things. I didn't take a picture of the finished food because...well, we were hungry and dug in pretty fast....

LOL. I wish, but I'll be glad to get rid of the occasional pain and to be able to eat on that side of my mouth again. You guys could always come by this way on your way home!

We are going to hoof it on home and see the family that moved from CA to TX, 14 miles from our S&B. More importantly to see the GKs again. Takin I-90 to I-82 to I-84 to I-80 so I think we will miss you by quite a bit.

Next time.

RVM 5 and 5A reporting in.

When one is on the turnpikes between Boston and Buffalo, the choice of campgrounds is non-existent. A couple were full according to management. All others in the book and on the ipad were between 10 and 30 miles away from our route. We are overnighting in a lovely roadside service plaza near Little Falls, NY. Cost is unbelievable if it wasn't for the Burger Kings, donuts, and popcorn. (my new diet).

Thanx to my fellow mutants for the kind words. However, when you are able to set the bar so low it's a cinch. LOL.

The week was amazing. Mary Ann out did herself with lobster and lobster-laced sandwiches.

Our oldest daughter is enjoying 4 lobster and clam chowder as we speak. Her only comment so far is "Oh my God they're still alive". No newer reports have been received.

The Grand Poobah challenged attendees to author a poem for the "Opening of the Lobster Trap (OLP) Ceremony last night.

Here's mine:

Mutants, we are blessed
As we have certainly flown the nest
To travel God's gorgeous kingdom
To the North, South, East, and West

Our journeys have taken us far and wide
Often with fellow mutants we abide
No judging, no questioning, not even a scowl
We laughed, we, giggled, and even cried

We can't help but be amazed
That our journey have been so crazed
To think it started so simply
From a trail that Steve and Dave have blazed

Our distance apart and infrequent sightings
Only serve to enhance our mutant alightings
What a precious gift is the love we share
Its make our golden years very exciting
