We've landed at Ft. DeSoto campground in southern, beautiful, and nautical St. Petersburg. 3 nights here and then on to Legoland for 3 nights.
We're accompanied by our 3 youngest grandsons. They are Dru (11), Austin (9), and Connor (6). Two days on the road from central Indiana, whew. Kids have be great.
Tomorrow we explore the beach for shells and then sand castle building.
P.S. I'm not going near the water. Every time I'm sitting near the ocean's water, a bunch of "do gooders" try to help me back into the water.

It's always fun to put a new RV into service, even if it's new to you. Just hope that champagne bottle wasn't broken on the hood. Even ship hulls aren't always strong enough to break the christening bottle so the outside of the bottle is usually scored to assure success. It is said that an unbroken bottle brings bad luck.
Cheers to your parents for a long and happy ride!

I want to thank Dennis, Denise, Wayne and Earlene for the delightful, all be it way too short, time we spent on Whidbey Island. It was great fun to be in the company of such delightful friends.
