Caught this earnest young fisherman last evening, patiently learning her craft. Sweet.

Home again, home again, lickety split ...
except there's the Belgian Grand Prix on TV first. 😉😎
We should be fighting the weeds to find the S&B early this afternoon. Hot & humid there: 97* but "realfeel" 100*. Here in IN? Realfeel 103*. Might as well go home, eh?

Cheers!

She just feeds them pretty red and gray birds.

Sorry, I just had a moment of evil. Mac and Boko, I'm sure you could defeat any old kitty, uh not that Tikka and Betsy are old ... Shoot ... I need to crawl back into bed and pull the covers over my head. Just because Sena thinks you are all evil monsters doesn't mean I do.

I believe Tikka & Betsy would cower in fear of those big, b. i. g. red and grey birds. Can't imagine either of them even thinking of an attack, old or not! (One of each, actually.)

Picture: birds with hooked beaks; cats with no front claws. Shall I take bets?

Home safe ... but found the toad's battery deader'n a doornail. Can't even unhitch it, turn off parking brake, n'r nothin'. Car in garage also flat, and now on charge. Looks like a jump might be in order.

Havin' a nice cuppa tea on the deck while things gets recharged. 😎

Overripe cucumbers & squash, lots of cherry tomatoes, and a few spring-planted flowers are in the garden. Lots of grass, of course, but not as bad as I feared. And somebody (read: our farmer, the near-sainted Leroy) has mowed the yard in the last week. Best news of all! 🙄

I've already eaten all them tomatoes. Martin never got a look-in!

Must be mutant thing. We pulled into the cg in Stuart's Draft, VA, went to unhook the toad, no battery. Cg host brought over a jump box and we got it started and unhooked. Watching it idle right now while I work on a cool one. About 88* here, much better than Indiana was.

Ford dealer replaced the part, was the linkage between the pitman arm and the left steering knuckle. Did not help the original problem. Try another place on down the road.

DW is vacillating ( Wayne, that means she can't make up her mind ) about the outer banks. Going to TN in a week to pick up meds, then hopefully the OBX.

Batteries replenished, unhitched, located & levelled. All's good again.

OBX sounds real good right now, setting up in the home driveway. Sweat runneth freely as do the AC runoffs. Ah, IL in August.!

Mohmmms for the needed part(s). Can't carry spares for everything, can we?!

We live about five miles from Stuart's Draft. Which campground are you at?

WV yesterday was in the 90's. Felt like I was back in TN

Hoping the sea breeze tames the 80's on the OBX.
