We've been to botanical gardens that have butterfly habitats but must enjoy them from outside the screen enclosures. Sena looks at those beauties as snacks.

Hi, Thank you all for the warm welcome. Well, the only things I can think that I am missing would be a garage, a basement and an attic. We just bought a new to us Fleetwood Revolution LE. The only thing it does not have is a dishwasher, but hey, I am good with reservations and paper plates
We are not full timers. We live just outside Greenville SC. Before our live in Grand child started school a couple of years ago we camped a lot. Now with school we only get to do weekends and summertimes.
About The cottonwood camp ground, Columbia is on highway 70 and we have to jump off onto highway 65 and go west into Sedalia. Columbia is a pretty good lick to be driving back and forth 2 or 3 times a day. My mother is 91 and she naps a lot , so I run in and out often.
Again, thank you so much for the welcome, and if I haven't worn it out, I would like to return.

Dear Family and Friends,
It is with heartfelt sorrow that I regretfully announce the passing of our dear friend Mortimer the rubber chicken.
Mortimer is survived by us, his only known family since we purchased him nearly 20 years ago.
He was a good rubber chicken.
Never squawked when left in the cupboard too long.
He was well travelled and had been to Maui, Mexico, Albuquerque, Palm Springs, the Oregon Coast, San Juan Islands, Victoria, Tofino and other areas of Vancouver Island and many campgrounds in and around BC. His favourite place was Mexico, although he found that the hot sun dried out his rubber skin a bit.
Mortimer met his unfortunate demise at the hands of Bella, our Miniature Dachshund who upon interrogation at the time of the altercation, showed no remorse for her actions.
Bella is presently detained pending further investigation.

Hi Ro...sie, glad you came back and told us a bit about yourself. Some of us are fulltimers, some of us are not (I'm in that crowd). None of that matters to us so you can certainly come back to return!
There's just one more little detail to pass the gruesome qualifications to become an RV Mutant and that is to declare the Journey is the Destination. Once you do that you'll join the ranks of the most fun loving, good cooking, can't get enough fun group out on the rainbow. So what say you?

O M G!!!
That is some of the most horrific news I've heard in a while, certainly the most horrific I've read on this thread. I can hardly contain my shock of hearing this news...my sympathies go out to you and the rest of the family (minus Bella)...

There was a gathering of close friends and colleagues at Pontoon Beach Illinois today. Mort was remembered fondly and couple of his former love interests danced the chicken dance... it was something to see. R.I.P. Mort.

Just don't try to stop there when they are having the state fair. Good for an over night, altho we are there about a week ( family you know). Bare open space, quiet Altho the town does have the Scott Joplin jazz festival each year.

Hi, ro...sie! Thanks for your info on Columbia. C'mon back and hang out a bit more! Can't trick you, you're too smart for that, but fame & fortune do await you on this thread. Just ask anyone. Except maybe Wayne. He'll tell you anything! 😆

I think you are safe. Their names are Jim & Mary. I have known Jim since the late 50's (Yep, he's old!). He was also "Best Man" at our wedding but I don't hold that against him. Y'all will love Mary - Jim - well time will tell.
