How are things in RVMdom??? Everybody make it out of Maine without getting thrown into a lobster pot?

Our little corner of the Rainbow is glowing. Day trip to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn a couple of days ago. Bucket list, people.

We have been kayaking 4 times in the past 10 days. Just can't get enough of it on these lovely Michigan lakes. Found a place that rents a single or double yak for $15 for 4 hours. We have taken advantage. Kate uses our 10' yak and I rent a single seat 12 footer. Did a 5.5 mile round trip on the Grand River today. Kate paddled for 45 minutes or so then went back, sat on a bench on shore and read her novel. Wonder if it was something I said ......

The BMW X3 is a kiddie car compared to the X5. I used to drive my former boss' X5 and it was a marvelous ride. That was bad planning on the dealer's part if they wanted to try to sell you a new car.

All the stuff is in storage and we are currently in a campground just east of Indianapolis IN. Mail is forwarded to my daughter's house for now. Still doing the w*rk thing for another month or so (tired of the job but like the paycheck), then we head Southwest for the winter.

Last few days of moving out were not much fun (and we dodged a lawsuit), but that's a story for another time.

WELCOME all the new people, was off line for several days and FINALLY caught up tonight...

Now to get Verizon to up our data plan, wi-fi here is not good...
Hip Hip Hurrah! I knew you had it in ya! You are planning on being at the RVMoon GC in Oregon August 17-23, 2017, right?

BTW I use a plastic snow shovel at my DD and SIL's place as a jumbo dustpan when cleaning up around the yard. I don't mow, but I still need dirt therapy so I play in the flower beds.

Applications being accepted at 3765 Bexley Rd Cherry Creek BC for dirt therapy sessions. Denise needs help and I'm too busy trying to get the ceiling finished in the Moho. Barb wait til you see the wiring conduit I made to get 12 volt to places the Moho didn't have 12 volt to before. Should be finished in time for the GC next August.

Sure that wasn't indigestion?

Anyway welcome loser, join in the conversation this group is shaky most of the time anyway!

Di, we didn't feel anything here. Local news reports no damage in AR so far. Seems the quake went all directions away from AR.

A friend of ours in Malvern felt it ... BUT I did not in Glen Rose...

I admit I am shaky most of the time, so I would never notice this...

Hope all stay SAFE over this Labor Day Weekend...

If only we could come visit. I'm jealous! But you'll be ready to spend winter of 2017-18 with us in the AZ desert with all the love Gracie is now getting.

Morning Nature Call

The routine around here in the morning is to wake up the birds and bring Mac outside for his morning duty. We go to a tree just behind the screen house where there's a favorite perch for him. Well, todays routine got a bit interrupted by this guy who decided the screen house made a good observation landing...

Whoa! Looks like I left OK just in time! I was parked in a friend's OK driveway during a 4.? quake several years ago and thought I felt the wind rocking the Moho. Tornados, wild fires, now earthquakes ... Oh my!

And what was Mac's reaction to this intruder?
