Y'all in the Sunshine State: it wasn't very nice of yez to steal our sunshine!
I've been watching rain fall into Texas Canyon this morning & we have a 60% chance of it happening here in Benson too. Wha' hoppen'??!
On the upside, if it rains, the ocotillo will leaf out. 😎😊😎

It certainly was the year to chose Florida for the winter. Near record highs during January, very little rain, only one real blusterly storm, "no see-ums" are under control, and best of all folks we made friends with two years ago are just as friendly as we remember. As someone we know would say "Woot Woot"

Sue I had to look up Ocotillo to be sure, but we have already had enough rain here in Q for them to go from dried sticks to beautiful green, leafy plants. I wish I could see them in bloom. Some of the smaller shrub like bushes are starting to have flowers, and the ground looks like grass is starting to sprout when viewed from a distance. Rain can do amazing things for the desert, but it takes longer than I expected. The rain ended here about 2 weeks ago.

I'm so much better than I was pre-sinus surgery but these symptoms are very similar to one's I had before. Which were not really what the sinus surgery was all about... so I'm thinking allergies. Zyrtec isn't doing it so I'm thinking I'll go back to Claritan once I get over this. Annie sounds better so hopefully she's on the mend.

Old Motorhome Leap of Faith
My 81 year old FIL called me today and wants us to visit. We have his Mom's early 60's Gibson guitar and amplifier. I want to send it back to him but he wants us to see him. Need to prep the old Monaco for a ride. 1,340 miles each way. My Mom say's she will get a ride to Flagstaff and ride along....I need to prep and do this.
