Don't think I could get there and back leaving Thursday at 2:30 PM and needing to be back by 9:30 AM. Monday unless I flew in...

Okay, story time before night night.

Son, DIL and granddaughters went to San Antonio for "Spring break. For the 3 nights gone, BLue, the Lab, was in a kennel. They asked if we could feed Kiko the cat. They put her in the master bathroom with all of her vitals, water, litterbox, etc.

I went there Thursday and when I got there Kiko was not in the bathroom, because the door was open. I went to get her food which DIL left in the bag on the Dryer for me to find. There was a big hole in the bag. Okay, first thought is that someone did not close the door and Kiko just helped herself to dinner. I still gave her a little food, Filled the water bottle, closed the door with Kiko in the bathroom. I put the food in the cabinet over the washing machine. DIL leaves the washing machine cover open. I placed the bag so that the torn opening was up - I could not find any plastic bags to put the 5 pound bag of food in.

Friday: Earlene and I go to take care of Kiko. Hmmm! Haunted house? Bathroom door open. Hmmm! Went to get food out of cabinet and cabinet door is open. Hmmm! Another hole in the bag. Haunted house?? Rattled the food container expecting Kiko to come running. Nope! Found her laying on a blanket near the couch with that look of. "You don't expect me to eat again, do you?"

Heck, may as well just let her roam, but I need to take care of the food before she bloats herself to a large tabby cat size. Idea! Since cat food had fallen into the washing machine I'll just gently lay the bag in there and close the lid. This I did. Let DIL clean up.

Today we picked up Blue as kids were coming back home today. I told Earlene. "I'm going to be ticked if the washing machine lid is open!"

It wasn't. Cats! Much rather have a dog.

Okay, quick! Tips for Wickenburg & Kingman? Looking for a couple of days at least at the former, a week or so at the latter.

I'm hoping for a less urban type cg, FHU, but don't need a pool. Quiet would be nice, black night skies even better.

Any recommendations?

For that you should get at least a little extra rainbow breath! And what's 10 minutes between friends, anyway? I'll share! 😊
