Like our newest riders on the outer Rainbow, Jackie, Ed and Sheba, I had a grueling 3 hour drive. But given that I went thru Sedona at 3 mph and the up twisty, curvy Oak Canyon it was a bit of a tough drive. You can't beat the scenery, though.

Tonight we are overnighting in Winslow, AZ and tomorrow plan to check in to the Homolovi State Park campground, (just off I-40 at the next exit) so we can better weather the rain, wind and cold that's due in. When it fizzles out they will have me to thank.

There is an archeology site on the banks of the Little Colorado River there that I'm interested in seeing.

So where are the rest of you tonight?

Yes, Oak Creek is so very magical. But we Jeeped it. Gwen was too shy.
Homolovi is the most unique archeological site we have seen! The walls were discovered and gently revealed, but only to display that the walls are THERE by excavating only the tops, and the tons of potter shards are a true delight. Enjoy!
We are in Tucumcari NM. 3 days to explore the Route 66 area. Be ready for some pics!

Nogales today! 💃 Walking across for pharm & maybe lunch. This is a new town for us, but seems set up much like Los Algodones at Yuma; IOW with pharm & dentistry easily available for us Yanks.

The weather has moderated back into the 80s w/ a little overcast. Good day for a drive & a walk (on the wild side?)

Y'all have a grand, mutated day, wherever you are!

Pappa Steve let the planning begin.

We are at The Hide-A-Way RV Resort south of Ruskin, FL. We are leaving here next Thursday to return to Indiana.

Carl is about 3/4 of a mile north of us on U.S. 41 but still south of Ruskin. It's called Tampa South and it is also on the southern shoreline of the Little Manatee River.

Pull-thrus are normally available at our place this time of the month (can't be said earlier in the year) Full hook-ups are $43 a night. Wood fires are restricted to the community fire ring (I think).

Mini-C in Florida

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

Muteys within the sound of my voice and within driving distance of Woody's River Roo in Ellenton are invited to a mini-C at 3:00 on Tuesday, March 28th.

Woody's is a very popular "biker bar" (mostly retired accountants, lawyers, teachers, salesmen, etc.) along the Manatee River (north shore). Daily specials and burgers of every kind.

Sound off if you can make it. I think there's some hidden mutants in the Sunshine State.

So far on the guest list is: Tom and Jan, Carl, Ed and Jackie, Steve and Mary Ann.

Come on down. Woody's is busy but it has lots of room. Exit 224 on I 75 and then a little bit east on the south side of the highway.

Ed and Jackie, how comes you are only spending a few nights everywhere you stop? Hasn't anyone told you that From Point A to point b in one night is a half tank of fuel, and point b to point c is another, and point c to D is still another.

Consider point a to b, stop for a week, same amount of fuel. Point b to c and stop for a week, same amount of fuel, point c to point d, stop for a week, same amount of fuel. So instead of $$$ every couple days if you use the weekly schedule it is $$$ over a period of a month. Money in the bank catches up with you.

Ooops! Sorry! You are rich, you just sold a house. Kumbaya!

How come Texas City, TX, wasn't on your travel plans????
