Good morning!

I received and email from Mel this morning. She said she had told you about us and our Bounder and asked if I'd share our Bounder experience.

Of course we'd be happy to, but our Bounder and a 2012 35' are Roos of a different kind. Ours is an '08, 38' Diesel Pusher. I'm pretty sure the 2012 35' is a V-10 gas engine. That's why I was hopeful that Sarah W would chime in. Haven't heard from her in a bit but she's around. I think they really loved theirs. They did change out the J couch I believe. Found it uncomfortable if I remember right.

As for our beloved Bonita Bounder. She's the best! We love her!

3 Hour drive.... Oh the humanity. Trust me on this one. It's amazing the number rv parks (Walmarts etc) within 3 to 4 hours of each other. The pace of on the road about 11 and off again around 3 or 4 are one of the best parts of full timing (or a least having no time constraints). Never in a hurry. Book a night or 2 or 3 - move on 3 or 4 hours, rinse and repeat.

Sue and I had a Bounder 3 rigs back. It was a 2013 33C - identical to the 35K but without the back bathroom. Never had an ounce of trouble with it. Sarah's is a 33C and I fully agree the J couch was not comfortable but we lived with it. I did a couple of worthwhile mods to it, both of which are discussed in depth on iRV2 threads. No. 1- 5 Star tune. That V10 will drop into 2nd gear as soon as it sees a slight incline and scream at 4,000 rpm. 5 Star remaps the ECU so that it will hold onto top gear until it really needs to change. No. 2 - CHF (Cheap Handling Fix) a simple way to beef up the anti-sway. It really does work.
If you do get a Bounder, look out for your local chapter of Bounders of America. Ours was a great bunch of folks and we rallied with them every month. Unfortunately, they expelled us when we became SOBs (Some Other Brand)
Best of luck on your venture.

I had forgotten about that. That was pre-formal-mutation I think...

I suppose our willingness to have the flooring and furniture redone and the residential fridge installed says something about our love for our different kind of Bounder.

As for kicking ya out for SOB that's just not mutant!

That is because there is so much there to pick on, except for the missing Bocce's. No, we are not going to try and find them for you...ask Denise.

I know where the Bocce's are. It's not knowing where the horseshoes are what's the problem. You never ever get things right Wayne.

I have a set of horseshoes, I'm just not sure I'm up to throwing the 1200 lb animal it's attached to! No I'm not talking about Wayne.

Heck, from the weight you stated it was already quite clear you were not talking about Wayne; he's much heavier.

So I look up into the sky & it appears to be snowing! Nope, the cottonwoids are sending their children out into the world ... & into my face, my tea, my knitting .... Sure is pretty backlit by the sun, though, & not nearly as cold as the snow it looks like.
