In other news.. while the baby is incredibly exciting, we have some bad news too.

Two months ago, Andrea's dad, age 60, was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer.

He went through two lightening rounds of chemo, then into the hospital, then a stent in the pancreatic duct.

An MRI revealed even worse news, and the doctors said there was nothing more they could do.

He was moved to Hospice last Friday.

Andrea and I were in the Hospital for 11 total days with Stella while this was all taking place. The hospital was incredibly kind in letting us leave twice so I could drive Andrea down there to see her father before he became unresponsive.

At this point, he's not responding, and we have no idea if he can hear us or not. He's over an hour from our house, and with a premie infant at home, we have to just let nature take it's course...

Bitter sweet time for sure.

Eat your vegetables folks.. the research I laid down quickly into cancer (gerson therapy, nutritionfacts.org, and more) all point to the fact that vegetables and fiber are life savers, and saturated fats and oils are a killer..

Our prayers to your family, not much at this point can be said or done, but pray and I believe in prayer.

I saw the early arrival date for Stella and her weight was near the twins so I figured y'all had experances simular issues. As a friend and pediatrician told us, these are just small bumps in the road. Mary was born just over 3 lbs and early and as I tell people, look at her now, she overcame it. That comment is usually followed by Mary smacking me on the arm!

Ok so Steve revealed his "Secret " so I guess I should reveal mine. I hinted that the large winning lottery ticket was sold here in AR.

Yes I had all six numbers exactly, written down in ink, so a call was placed to the lottery commission to recover my winnings.

The loop hole they used to cheat me out of my money was the fact I hadn't purchased a ticket! But I feel like a winner anyway! Gees

Did the hospital induce for the twins? They told us that a lot of mom's with twins go preeclampsia --if so, that's rough stuff man...

Andreas blood pressure shot up to 160-170 over 110, and our midwife said "To the hospital NOW"

We had originally planned to give birth at a local birthing center with midwives, but once you go preeclamptic, that's it, you're in a hospital...

and magnesuim sulfate is some awful stuff man... we had some rough rough days... I didn't leave her side, but that little couch was pretty comfy to sleep on so..... all was good in the end.

Wow! What a busy month for Muteys! Di there is 1 more birthday to add to your list -- RVMdom will turn 4 on April 14th. And then there is the 3rd anniversary of the first ever Grande Curiosity at Catherine's Landing 4/23-30 and then the second anniversary of the Hail of a GC also at Catherine's Landing.

Spring is the season of new beginnings and we have Stella, Finn and Fletch leading the charge. Larry has renewed his lease thanks to a modern medical miracle. And look at all the April birthdays! Happy, happy to Nola, Judy, Mary Ann, Paula and Tim!

Steve and Annie's Bonita is undergoing extensive plastic surgery. I anxiously await POP! And Jim and Paula's 5er awaits electrical repairs. And then there's Tim and Mary's S&B and we can't forget the Arkie deer stand raising.

I can't believe my baby, Sena, is turning 20! That makes me feel even older than my DD who is almost 42. Uh, I take that back, it makes me feel ancient when I think about it.

Andrea, I know this is a time of mixed emotions and exhaustion for you. I wish I had the right words to make the pain of losing your Dad all better.

So many Muteys are on the move! Safe travels to all. Remember to write, uh, post and show us POP.

Well the sun is shining and the winds are light. I do believe this will be a great day to play on the beach. Happy Spring to all my Mutant sisters and brothers.

Congratulations to you Jay and Andrea, and of course grandpa Timmy, and also prayers for Andrea's dad, pancreatic cancer took my brother as well at the age of 62, much to young and much to soon. Prayers for you and yours.

All water under the bridge now, sometimes life just dosnt go as planned! Stella looks perfect and prime for spoiling!

No induction, cesarean instead at 37 weeks. Goal was to reach 38 weeks but mom, who is little to begin with, was under a lot of stress. She had only gained 22 lbs overall and was beginning to lose weight. The problems started when the first hospital released the babies at 3 days unprepared to take in proper nutrition. Things getting much better now.
I can see Stella being a major draw at future trade shows. You'll have to put her to work early, before she expects pay!

Happy happy special day, Nola! (Can't you just hear Jeff & Marcia? &#128517 I hope you have some fun, delishus activities planned, no cookin or dishwashin allowed, unless you want to ... or if the plastic bounces ....!

So much going on in RVMdom! Barb seems to have said it best, so I'll not take up bandwidth repeating (& prolly leaving out someone!) So, *what she said*!

Love you all, muteys! Cheers!

We are mutating into a whole new wave of mutants.
Congratulations to all concerned on the babies.

I was chatting with a friend last evening who made outlandish claims of Yakking on Lake Powell; remember pop or it didn't happen.

Happy Birthday Nola make sure 'ol wuzzizname spoils 'all today.

Happiest of Birthdays to all our April celebrators.

Just think only 138 days to go.
