Time to check in to the thread...

Drove from Williams AZ to Meteor Crater yesterday through some gusty winds, short trip but was glad to reach the RV park. Went over to Winslow today and 'stood on the corner' for a while. Met a man from Brazil (wasn't 6'-4 and full of muscles, though) who had rented a Harley and was riding Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles. Plan to see Meteor Crater later this week, then see the Petrified Forest and some of the Painted Desert after that. Want to stop in Holbrook to see the Wig Wam Motel. Anyone know of anything else we might want to see before we head eastward into New Mexico?

One of the many beaches on Sanibel Island. Now the island may be interesting for those that want to hike around or bicycle around, but in terms of views, not so great, too many houses blocked by massive groomed vegetation growth in front of them. Could barely get a chance to see the water while driving down the main road on the island. Been on many other keys/islands in the area and never saw one with so much heavy growth blocking the views. These people must want a lot of privacy. The beach was nice though

We saw it tonight over the Big Sandy and The Sleeping Maiden just after sunset. No campers, no PoP, only memory.

This full moon on 4/11 is called the Pink Moon -- according to Facebook, anyway. I always thought it was the Grass Moon, but that must be a different tribe.

We didn't have that problem as we drove the Jeep down the beach.
