Whew, 10 pages to get caught up on. I posted this on FB...

Kids came back for Easter, and drove us out of the house. If things get bad, we'll just drive away.

Another lesson learned the hard way -- if you haven't lubed your door locks in over a year, or like me not ever, do yourself a favor and pick up some graphite powder and "puff" it into all of your locks, especially your door locks. I paid less than $3 for a tube at a local hardware store and now my locks work so smooth (smoothly?). I spent hours yesterday dealing with the lock on the walk thru door when 10 minutes of yearly maintenance would have prevented me from being locked out.

Arizona is made entirely of that magic dust... evenly distributed such as to be everywhere. Including door locks.

Sue, she just got done eating a (tiny-chunked) chicken wing, a people-size yogurt, and some "goldfish". Chow woofer fer shire!
All day: pull great Gramps beard, watch sponge bob, eat, nap, redo!
We sleep very well after being Hayden-ized!
Yes, Heaven.

The Andy Devine "Room"?
After dwelling there for a looong time (Plunk yer magic twanger, Froggy) my brain thought it was a separate museum!
It's great fun to have B&W flashbacks and lose your mind in the desert!
Cacti blooms?

Steve, I'm impressed with the progress!
Betting getting back into your own bed will REALLY feel good.

Sparky says he wants to go home. He's had enough of park model living.

He also says hello to all his mutant mascot brothers and sisters!

Yes, Wahweap is just south of here.

Lake Powell Wahweap Marina RV Park & Campground in AZ | Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas

There are 1,000s of houseboats that can be rented also.

I'm hoping to return here next Fall on my journey south. There's magic in this place!
