The label says not, unfortunately. It won't touch broadleaves or sedges. They suggest looking for "an appropriate WeedBGone MAX product." Whatever that may be....

Good luck with that!

Yep. They really enjoyed youse two. We're meeting for fish and chips lunch Thursday. They offered us their park model for the night we go down to see the docs. Of course we declined but what nice folks. Their pup, Dolly is fading away at 15. [emoji22] Their new house is about 3 miles from the Fairgrounds here. Can't wait to see it. They say they can see the arena from their patio.

Remarkably there don't seem to be too many dandelions, but enough other weeds to keep me busy for a while.

I guess it's time to get educated on a whole new batch of weeds.
Wild blackberries take on a whole new meaning in the NW, I gather ... something rather more sinister than in the Midwest. I do know they will take over the planet if you let them!

Field Guide to Noxious & Invasive Weeds of the Northwest, or some such title. Gotta be reference copies in the local library, or online. Nothing beats picture guides! (I keep books, but then I don't have a Sena to "help" me.)

What will she think of the goats, I wonder. Funny-looking big black dogs? Or new playmates?

Your work seems cut out for you there, Barb, even with the ground clearance team. Never a moment to be bored!

Wow! Did everyone sleep in this morning?

Sue -- up here Himalayan blackberries are a noxious weed. They will creep everywhere and they bite! Sena will consider the goats to be evil monster invaders, but I'm told it will only take a day or two to clear this area. They must have cast iron digestive tracts!

What's on second.

I beg to differ, Sir Cumference. Who's on first, what's on second and I don't know is on third.

Brought Boko bird to the vet today as she got a cut on her foot a week or so ago and it's still a bit swollen. She's doing fine and they gave me some antibiotics for birdies so hopefully that'll fix her right up.

The one interesting note while there was her Dr. had a degree from the University of Prince Edward Islands which I thought was kinda interesting since all those mutants just passed through there last summer. She also got them laughing when they went to "towel" her cuz she goes wooooooooooo in a funny "oh you're scaring me" kinda way.

Ok, let's see -- they take there homes wherever they go under the Rainbow. Why of course they must be Mutants!

Carl, Sena also makes a funny, "I'm scared" sound, but hers has multiple syllables in a very deep tone -- woo, woo, woo.

So how do you give antibiotics to your birds? Hide it in big seeds? With Sena they just give her the liquid, flavored stuff like they give kids. You know the spoonful of sugar.

Ugh, it's a PITA. I have two syringes (no needle) and I put the proper amount of each medicine they gave me into the syringes and then squirt it into her mouth. She really hates being controlled and having this done to her is not her favorite thing.

Went through this once before when Mac took one of her nails off (they love to go at it with each other) and she wound up at the vets and got bandaged up for weeks. That was a real bummer as she was really out of her norm with the bandaged up foot. This time at least it's not bandaged, but there's obvious pain there so it may be internally infected or something. It's been getting better (she can actually put her weight on it now) so I think the meds will just help clear things up.

Believe it or not... I did just that. Actually woke up at 6 am. Looked at the time, rolled over and went right back to sleep. Next thing I knew it was 10 am... that doesn't happen often.

Marty... Ranger Steve, Djinn, and Abbie came by today for a visit. Abbie is a he (as in Hoffman) and at 6 months his in training is paying off. Still a lot of pup in that big boy. His feet are huge.

The high priced local mobile wash is coming on Friday. The reports are good but it's Dallas prices in Az. Probably cause it's so close to Sedona. Speaking of which, if you turn right out of the Fairgrounds, you're headed for Jerome and Cottonwood. Some Mutants last year, at Mel and Kate's retirement and going full time GC at Deadhorse, made the Cottonwood to Jerome trek.
We may make the trip tomorrow.

Other than that, were just living small in PV. Waiting for the docs to say see ya in 5 or 6 months. Of course I'm scratching my head on where to hang out in Idaho until moving into Oregon. I've about concluded that PNW will be next year or thereafter. Think I'll let the other eclipse goers have the rest of Oregon this time.

Hey Barb... what month do you plan to head south. Any target dates for departure. Just thinking several of us will be making our way back to Az after the Great Mooning. And it crossed my mind - ^^ - Ed and Jackie haven't had a Retirement/ Going full-time GC yet.

The ramblings of mutant... ponders upon ponders... where to go. What to do.

Btw the fur face pics were taken the other day.

I can answer that!! LOL. How about Twin Falls, or McCall or better yet --more north to Lewiston or Orofino! We could caravan to Oregon.
