Been eyeing them, think I want one, waiting for the best time/price. We just missed Amazon's Prime Day (great deals!) but harvest will come along soon.

Sue.....
The 4 quart was $49 at Steinmart.... when I bought it in June.... I didnt want the bigger 6 qt one.... which run about $99.... it isnt that much smaller, but liked the price.... BUT had I known how much I was going to use it, I would have paid it.

But I have always used a pressure cooker, have 2, got rid of my huge pressure canner...

Yep, need a gyro-copter license.

Today we roll to Bend Oregon for a 4 day visit... looking forward for the 2.5 hour slow roll.

I considered one, but when I checked their Amazon ratings there were a lot that simply quit working in a few months and the company has really poor customer service.

Another excuse not to cook.

On that other forum we frequent, there is a whole group dedicated to the InstaPot brand. Is that one of the ones reputed to have poor performance & service?

How about a time share? With 40 hours training, we'd be ready to get the license.

Can't you just see picking up someone at the airport ... no luggage, mind, just the passenger. Forget groceries.

Sure looks fun, though.

Yes. Before I spend $100 I always check the negative reviews to see why people rated it only one star. About 4% say theirs quit working in less than a year.

Mary has a Bella brand 6 qt. uses often. I remember the first thing she cooked in it was ribs. Over cooked just a tad the first time. Even the bones were soft and spongy! Runs like $79 at Target.

From the numbers I read on the website it looked like it could carry 500# but I don't know if there is enough space inside for a passenger and luggage.

They were for sale in a 2013 Christmas catalog for $295,000. I hope anyone who bought one is very patient. And what a price increase since then!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencete...g-295-000.html

I'd settle for a 30 minute ride in one.

We have arrived in Bend... a pricy but beautiful park. No discount cards... But retired AF ID did the trick.
