Thanks Steve, I'm getting some bleed over from the crazies this morning. Must be the small bandwidth here on the coast. Heading to Big Sur today, local news says the first replacement girder has arrived at site.

That's why one of the first boy scout rules is pick up wood right away and place it under your camper or a tarp for a fire later...

Queen, I am very encouraged by the fine report from your devoted subject.

Steve,
We missed you by that much... got a late start, so only got down to Coos Bay. Lots of scenic views.
Head north tomorrow into Washington. Be safe all.

Dang. I don't know why I thought you had already left Florence... etc.

We did Florence to Newport to Coravalis back to Eugene today! Sortting through phone pics now. Will transfer camera pics to phone next. Hate the vacation mode. It's interrupting my slow roll. Off to Garibaldi tomorrow for 4 nights. See youse two shortly...

Just got back to our MH 30 minutes ago. Went to Mesa Verde today and then to Durango for dinner.

Mary Ann is amazed at my improved ability to walk some pathways at high elevation. What I walked today would never have been walked at Bryce Canyon.

Today is a "sit by the river and watch the water go by" day. Here's some pics. Enjoy!

Well tonight I took the RV for a "test spin" prior to the big trip. Had to make sure after all those fixings that went on didn't upset anything else. Of course, my "test spin" is probably some of yous "day trip", just a short jaunt of 250 miles

All systems checked out fine, it was rolling smooth down I-84 west and east!

Well you take the East road and I'll take the West road
And I'll get to Idanha before you!
But we'll have some fun there as other mutants join there
And some might even adore you!

Dave, Mary has found the Monterey Clam Chowder to be as good our better than PEI. We had to make a second stop by Fishermans Wharf on way back from Big Sur for a Sour Dough bread bowl full of chowder! Oh the humanity!
