Checking in -
Near Pendleton OR tonight, outside of Moro OR the next two, then Idhana on Thursday with a long drive. Coming via I-84 & I-5. Couldn't find a vacancy anywhere around Portland.
Carol was concerned about crossing the Rockies, but was a little disappointed after we came through. I offered to find steeper grades (Wolf Creek Pass?) on the way back home but she said "No".
Watching a trailer tire carefully, got worn unevenly & am concerned it will wear down to cords in a couple of spots.

Some day I will get to catch up with you all in a GC!
We have the rig in front of our house, getting ready for a 2 week trip to Rushmore, Yellowstone, and Grand Tetons, leaving Friday. We are caravaning with 3 more rigs from St. Louis.
I am envious of the west coast camping talk, as I was born and raised in Bellingham, WA.
Safe travel Ohms for all of us!

You're headed to our favorite area! And the only difference between a GC and Mini-C is headcount. Just keep an eye here and you'll run into someone somewhere lol.

Trivia from an analytical nut
In the past 26 days, from Fort Collins, Co to Bend, OR we have stayed in several beautiful areas (10 separate campgrounds). The elevation of these 10 areas has averaged 5,459 feet above sea level.
The marvelous thing is that I've walked here and there more than I ever would have a year ago. No exhaustion and gasping for air. Yea haw . . . . . .

And we all are just living one day at a time, been talking up the Urban GC, now a few of them I might have given wrong directions.
But we're looking forward to coming if even for a short time.
FYI; 52* when we got up this morning!
