Tonight we are in Burlington WA. at the Swinomish Casino with full hookups and WiFi and Cable TV and GOOD cell service. We are looking out over the channel watching all the sport boats come and go. Life is good on the rainbow!!
We had a great time at the GC and it was nice to meet all you folks that were there. Safe travels to all.

Everyone had me worried about Portland, it was a piece of cake. Problem was from Portland to Olympia was stop and go almost all the way!

Setup now in Olympia and kicked back, life is good!

Maybe that's what they needed... a darn good soaking! I'm hiding with you.

Omms to youse guys...

Between '65 and '73, when I lived in Dickinson, we rode out some storms, but nothing like this. A girl I have know since then was just boated out of their place.

Stay safe.

Good to hear from you!

Steve we did see some elk (elks?) along the way but were behind schedule and couldn't stop, got checked in 10 minutes before the office closed. They are along a lake so there is a marina here, haven't see any osprey(s?) yet though. No seagulls yet either. There is a restaurant/pub on the premises. HUGE burgers, pizza, etc. Carol says they make a really good fuzzy navel. Not sure why she wanted that tonight, maybe had something to do with me driving the MH through the curves between I-5 and Reedsport... all the tires stayed on the road all the time... Signing off and heading for bed.

Oh, a P.S.: they told me to put food waste in a garbage can rather than the dumpster, apparently there's been a cougar sighted in the area... and everyone was so concerned about mice... here kitty kitty kitty...
Bit the cougar won't come in unless you leave the door open!

Glad ya saw some of the elk.
Let me (us mutants) know how you like Bandon and Coos Bay and The Tidal Rave in Lincoln City... etc. Etc etc.

Here we are sitting in a rest area/weigh station in Culbertson, MT. For boondocking it's a fine place to drop anchor.

Drove 494 miles today. Drove for around 9 hours. US 6 is a nice highway. I figure we drove as fast all day as we would have on I 90. Will continue to explore the backroads of America by following US 6 to St. Ignace, MI. It's a mere 1600 + miles to our frontdoor.

Hang in there Wayne and Earlene. Our thoughts are with you.

With any luck he'll live out his life at the dump. The funny thing is that once you left we never had anymore mice. Denise and Dennis were miceless as well. Something about your coach must have been attracting them to our corner of the park.

Tom, thanks again your help replacing my awning fabric! It smoothly retracted as we were getting ready to leave today. I owe you a huge favor.
Actually... we got 2 after they left... so 3 in the water bay and 1 inside for 4. Tim got 9. Tom and Jan got 11. Ed got 3 I believe. Not sure what the grand total was... and we will have traps set for a week or so.

Safe to say, we all enjoyed it.
And it was great meeting you, mom and Jim.

Assume you got her home safely.
Take care and enjoy the winter break!

Stay safe... what about Chris and Michael?
Chris & Sandy had street flooding in their sub-division, it's called Whispering Lakes and I wonder now if they will change it to High Water Lake.

Mike is a police dispatcher for Seabrook, TX and he was called in from "leave" and they are on 24 for a while. They will either sleep at the PD or across the street at a hotel. He and Gemma llive in an apartment off of NASA Rd 1 and on the second floor, so she may be stranded but high and dry.

From what I saw, with the water's height, I hate to say this, but you might have to rename Critrus to ORANGE JUICE.

Yep, looks bad. Just have to wait and see. Hopefully it never got above the bays and electrical boxes.

How are your boys doing? I guess Michael is working the '911', but where does Chris & the girls live?
See above.
Fingers crossed that all works out for you.
===========================================

We are high and dry. Water has departed the roadways and streets are back to normal. We wish to than all the well wishers for the prayers and ohhmms. Prayers worked.

Now, let's not forget Dwayne and Shara. Those who are following them on FB may know this. They left there DIGS to go out and help others. As of now it is reported that they helped 5 people.

There are no words to describe that couple other than extraordinary wonderful caring people.

I'm sad that we will not be able to make it to Little Rock. Everything is revolving around my Mom right now, and we don't feel comfortable being that far away from her.

Who knew that in June she would pull through the 5th bout of pneumonia in under 3 years?! She surprised everyone, including herself! But she is weak and feeble and needs help. She doesn't want to move to assisted living yet and that's a difficult thing for us kids, because she seems to need to do just that. We are trying to be supportive, but we also can't continue indefinitely to meet all her needs, which we have tried to do to this point.

Kate and I have taken on the lion's share of the care because we are retired and my siblings and in-laws are not. But we can't stay here through the winter. So, ommms are appreciated ... for wisdom to know how to handle the assisted living topic with Mom.
