Marty we're at Glacier and guess what, it's smokey here. I've scheduled one day to see what we can. The drive up almost to Canada and then over was pretty scenic.

Did something today that really had me nervous. An 18 wheeler had turned over on an overpass completely blocking the road. The 5-6 vehicles ahead of me were turning around and coming back down the road to take the exit. This all happened before the police arrived so I wasn't sure my best maneuver. Several officers showed up and started directing traffic and one approved me to see if I wanted to try and back out and go around. He stopped traffic from running up behind me so I tryed.

Since I was on a up hill run the toad really wasn't being pushed backwards, it was really just rolling back as I backed up. Did this to my amazement for close to a 100 yards and was able to exit an take a detour.

Hey Richard, count yourself lucky you missed this trip. Not sure if it's the altitude or the smoke but something had made me swell up to the point my pants barely snap shut!

Before the officers arrived I was already contemplating the back up but cars were pulling up behind us un aware of the wreck. Mary wanted to get out and watch but I was afraid she'd get ran over, if not by me, then by the other traffic.

Marty et al, Shara has been posting videos on facebook once or more every day, telling the story as it unfolds. Dwayne did one, but I haven't watched it yet.

Anybody know their mailing address? PM me, please, if you do.

Both, if you don't mind, but specifically the snail mail. Thanks, Wayne.

It was all Tom's fault -- he had the first one and after he and Jan left I didn't have any more. Actually the park is in the forest and everything was so dry there I think food was scarce. We were just an easy meal.

Hope all are well. Just chillin and hanging out. Trying to plan our way back to Az without undue heat exposure...

I can't believe that a tiny glass fuse for my Dometic refrigerator cost $6.18, can't be purchased at local hardware or auto part stores and cost $9.85 shipping from California to Seattle. What a racket!

I have 5 easy meals of the ever-popular chunky peanut butter awaiting those meeses. No takers after that first one.
It had somehow gotten in at the aquahot bay! Ironically, one of the aquahot circulation pumps quit that same night!!!!!

R U a Mutant

After cutting the cheese in Tillamook we have moved south to Florence Oregon. Parked at the Three Rivers casino for a night or two.

Did you find anything at the Blue Heron shop? We picked up cheeses (several including Tilly) some wine, and an awesome horseradish. The wine tasting was fun.
