X10 -
Marty- this time will pass quickly. I do know from past experience that this moving around and "seemingly lost in the system" isn't uncommon. But it is fairly uncommon for someone to actually be lost or unaccounted. With my friend in Dallas - The website was rarely current.

Playing catchup again...

Barb, we'll be in Yuma at Adobe Sunset park December through March. Didn't I see that you would be in St. George UT on Saturday? Going southbound I assume. We'll be passing through northbound on I-15 late Saturday morning. Wave if you see us...

Papa Steve, how many tires? I could see Dwayne doing that with all the burnouts he does with that hot rod bus...

Wayne & Earlene, congrats on the new ride. Looks like a 'mobile mansion' from here...

Meanwhile back at the Instant Pot - went with the Ultra 60 10 En 1 model. Even the 6 quart is like having R2D2 come to visit. I'm not going to make that Clam Chowder of Waynes. If it gives him gas, that's all I need to know. Upwind and find a different recipe.

Steve, haven't been on all day so just saw your post about instant pot. Here is one of my favorite receipes:

Instant Pot Wendy's Copycat Chili

Prep time 5 mins
Cook time 25 mins
Total time 30 mins

Serves: 8 cups

Ingredients
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil
• 2 tsp minced garlic
• 1 lb lean ground beef
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 1 large bell pepper, chopped
• 6 stalks celery, chopped
• 1 package McCormick's Chili Seasoning
• 1 cup water
• 1 15 oz can Ranch Style Beans
• 1 15 oz can dark red kidney beans, drained
• 1 15 oz can RoTel Original
• 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
• 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Set your Instant Pot to Saute and vegetable oil and minced garlic to the pot.
2. Once the pot is hot and oil is simmering, add ground beef.
3. Once browned, add chopped onion, bell pepper and celery to the beef.
4. Cook until onion is starting to become translucent, then add McCormick's Chili Seasoning. (I just make up my own seasoning mix)
5. Mix well and add water.
6. Scrape up any browned bits that have adhered to the bottom of the pot.
7. Add Ranch Style and kidney beans to the pot and stir.
8. Then add Rotel, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce on top.
9. Then add your Instant Pot lid, make sure vent is set to seal and set your IP to 10 minutes on manual.
10. Once time is up, let your Instant Pot naturally release. (I usually don't wait that long and gradually release the pressure a little at a time)
11. Once released, open your Instant Pot, stir and enjoy your chili!
NOTE: can add more ground beef.

Welcome to the Mutantdom! We also have an ORV. How are you liking your Glacier Peak? There is an Owner's Forum for Outdoor RV if you have questions.

We live in Idaho so if you ever get this way along the Lewis & Clark trail, give us a holler.

Yep, the first time I fixed it was with mooseburger.

We just drove the roads today. Been snowing, hailing, raining and then starts all over again. Tomorrow's supposed to be more of the same. We're getting our rain gear ready for tomorrow. Just saw deer today. Last weekend we did see mama & baby moose and gobs of tracks, some of which was in our 4 wheeler track.

Same as ours, I think. It almost beeps in that charming way, too. Almost.

So I tried steamed mixed veg tonight -- not long enough, not even to al dente! -- to go with salmon. They were more like warm salad veg.

Tomorrow it'll be baby back ribs with my own q sauce & I'll go for "fall off the bone". They'd better be better done than the mixed veg!

As for that chowdah, mmmmmaybe not.

Try holding it up to the Light. If He can't help you - well you are just lost.

Steve, she forgot the important ingredient for chilly, hickory twigs. The hickory twigs are so the little "toots" can climb out.

Wayne, you gave away your secret? Wow!

A fine day in Camp Verde. A cookout with entirely too much food this afternoon (oh the Mutant Humanity!) with our Prescott family. Includes a visit to Montezuma Castle.
High of 79 today, gentle breeze and bright sunshine!
Here is Gwen's current home at Distant Drums.

Oh, Firestone has a lengthy warranty (prorated 6 years) but my first set of tires being replaced was not due to tire failures.

My last tire (#13) is being sent to Firestone to assess the cause of a "swishing noise" on every revolution of the tire. Local store thinks it was irregular tire wear due to overinflation (only 2,000 miles on the tire). Geesh . . . . . the installer of my last 6 inflated all of the tires to 110. Quote/Unquote. Guess I should have pressures checked regularly. Ya think???
