Been farm sitting without much internet. Keeping busy with horses, dogs, cats, goats, and chickens!

My friend Rick up in Edmonton sent me this pic the other day. Says he and Ruby will be here Dec 4th. Any of you northerner mutants grow canola?

Besides...it's been cold and wet and we are having a heck of a time getting someone to deliver firewood...so we Miserables can huddle around a fireplace and be comfy...although, the place I hobbyfarm sat at this weekend had a pool and hot tub inside...I didn't use though, I didn't pack a suit and didn't ask about it. I did use their fireplace!

Why would you need a suit inside an empty farm? Just curious.

Just a quick word from Idaho... My dad hasn't improved much since his fall. Still in pain even with a pain patch. I am staying at dad's place indefinitely. DH is managing on his own. Lighting lots of brush piles. So if you want to get warm, come on up. Warning...still snow on the ground.
