I wouldn't mind boondocking if I could get a long enough extension cord...

So I've got a question for those with a residential frig. Can you boondock?

Depends on your set up...

We can stay off grid until tanks are full. We have 8 batteries, inverter and solar. If all else fails we can run the generator a couple hours in the AM and again PM.

We are still in Kentucky, w**king at Amazon. Pondering an offer we received yesterday to stay here through March.

Thanks. How much solar do you have? It must be going good if you're considering more time.

For someone with your life experiences and working background it should be easy exceeding the everyday applicant's work and skill capacity. If they want to pay for that exceedingly good work then great. If they don't you can always work down to their pay scale.

We know some of you don't like more primative camping....but you could think of it as a mini vacation out in the boonies...

I will think of it as a short drive in CR-V Mutant from our full hook spot in Yuma.

There are no stranger's voices or slamming doors for Lily to bark at and no other RVs near enough for Sena to raid. That's why I boondock, and then again I'm too cheap to pay those prices for a place in a parking lot. I figure my solar panels have paid for themselves about 10 times by now just in RV park fees.

We finished lunch and laid down for a bit. Time to drive thru Roswell and see how many aliens we see. Almagordo tonight.
