I think a flag, a banner to RVMdom would need a single defining image that captures the spirit.
Right off, I can only envision one.

But how about a collage? This one is my favorite.

It's like receiving a "law of the West" lecture from Judge Roy Bean

I like the oval design that Steve and Barb use as an avatar, preferably on a plain white or tan background.
Now the hard part: someone taking that artwork to a shop and getting a quote (and some idea of how many need to be made - we need enough for everyone who wants one to get it and a few spares - but someone has to handle paying for them then getting payment from everyone else and who pays for any 'extra' ones?). When I was president of a hobby club, we ordered t-shirts but the club treasury paid the up front costs. RVM doesn't collect dues so there's no treasury to work with. As much as I would like a flag, I don't want anyone to have to put up a bunch of cash up front for them either.
Anyone know of an online place rat would take the artwork, make the flags and handle payment and distribution.? I know there are places that make shirts, coffee mugs, etc. like that but none I'm aware of (yet) that do flags.

The oval emblem on a white cloth would look good but I would think that all lettering would have to go. I will check out cost from a source I have in Victoria.
Where the heck are Sheldon and Ami at a time like this?

I was on a bird forum years ago and someone mentioned a really great parrot book that is only published on special orders. Of course there was a minimum number required and someone on the list volunteered to coordinate the purchase. We all sent our monies to this person and they placed the order and we all got our books (huge, 20x14 format).
Maybe some level of this type of coordination could happen, just throwing it out as an option that worked for me in the past. I think there were over 50 people involved.
