Well, they weren't really doing Mario Kart... no one throwing banana peels...
How come you two came all the way to Fry's with Walmart right there? Try the cart races there first and get ejected?

.......Attention Ed!!.......
Just saw a local weatherman speaking to a weatherman in Bar Harbor about the current blizzard. His position in Bar Harbor was in, or near, the intersection where we got the "Chicago Driving Lesson". A day and place I'll never forget!

I think those of us who weren’t able to go to Bah Hahboh need to hear this story.

We were blessed to attend that Bah Hahboh week & we would like to know the story also... They may have said something while there, but we may have already turned in for the night... We are early birds...
So, Tim, tell all of us the story, PLEAASSSEEEE.

I can't resist my true "Chicago" story:
Setting: Sight seeing in downtown with Ann & Co-worker (Don).
As I drove through busy intersection, Don asked Ann "Did you see what Richard did?"
" He just drove between that couple & they were holding hands "..
True quote, but exaggerated a little bit...

Well ok, it's certainty a rememberable event. Mary and I were touring the town of Bah Habah riding with Jackie and Ed. The town was crowded and traffic was stop and go and parking spaces all along both sides of the street were full. We had made it all the way to the last intersection near the harbor and Park and passing through the intersection we didn't realize the road just looped and came right back out. Yep all spots full, people everywhere.
Now the parking spaces, along the loop, were angled pull in spots and Ed, the driver, noticed a car starting up on a space on the opposite side of the road. This was only a couple spaces from the intersection, we had almost completed the loop. A line of cars following us. Remember now that space was angled for cars to enter from the opposite direction. Our driver heald traffic behind us till the car could exit the space then informed us we were going to get a lesson in "Chicago Driving". Now the light was red holding on coming traffic for the moment, but turned green just as the space emptied and cars were headed our way and toward the empty parking spot.
It was to tight a turn to get into spot first time but we were able to turn and totally block the street. On coming traffic now inches from Mine and Mary's passenger side doors. Luckily our Uber driver from the Chicago area did a back up and completed the parking. Mary and I after a few minutes, giving traffic time to clear and letting pedestrians move on. Came up from the floor board of their Jeep. We knew we had been a part of something special, many other drivers were holding up the infamous your number 1.
It was a great day
and I stand by my story!
