That traveling idea sound like a good one!

If'n I could I would. On January 31st I have hand surgery. Finger tips of right hand (and I'm right handed) are tingly and numb (yes Tim, like my brain.) Doctor said it was major carpal tunnel problem and they will have to open the hand. Two weeks before bandages come off then 4 weeks and back to Doctor for final check. Said I could travel during that time but I'm not traveling in the cold to get there. Next year, maybe.

So the mountain has to come to Mohamed, eh? All the world at your door?

Lemme see ... brushing teeth, buttoning shirts, signing checks & letters of intent ... all good with the left hand, eh? Better practice up!

Ommms anyway for you AND for the long-suffering Earlene. You'll both need em!

My MIL used to say we mustn't mock the afflicted, but if we can get there in time, I'll probably ignore her advice.

Cheers!

Let me know when you want to start mocking and I'll text you some ammunition.

Sounds like Wayne is changing his finger prints. Wonder who he's going to be now?

Regardless who or what, heal up. We got a date in MI.

I hate the cold...next year... some place warm.
Came across this yesterday.
The U.S. Road Trip That Will Keep You At The Perfect Temperature

It gives the route you can take to stay in 70 degree weather all year long! There's one for 80 degrees too.

I would rather have the 80˚ route but I cannot figure out how to put a long enough snorkel on the RV to start in PR.

Thank you

Thank you for all the warm and wacky welcomes. I'm on pins and needles waiting for my new old home. You could say I picked it up from the side of the road. Winn Dixie parking lot actually. Now to find out if it will drive nicely on the rainbow or end up looking for the end of the rainbow so I'll have enough money to keep it going!
It's a humble '96 Roadtrek 170 which means it's 17' long. I spend time visiting my kids in NY, AR, and FL. I love them but,,,, now I can stay at their houses but have my own space!
Looking forward to going to the RV show in Tampa this weekend. Don't know whether to trust it so may take my car.

Sue, two ACL reconstructions, two rotator-cuff repairs, one knee replacement, two motorcycle accidents, (No Tim, I didn't learn from the first one) don't you think I know how to MILK it?

She might just zip my pants down and leave 'em that way then explain to everyone when we are out and about that I'm old! On the bright side, remembering to zip them down is a lot more important than remembering to zip them up!

Well, surgery a few weeks ago. Hand problem about 3 months ago. Growing old is hard work.

Ah Timster, I'm just the person you'd like to be, eh? BTW, when you and Mary coming down this way? Just think, you can sit in my living room and we can throw barbs at each other.

Have you had it checked out by a mechanic? Things break, even in new contraptions. Have it checked out and then decide.

Don't forget to ask me for the (my) theme song on the email group.

See the trouble yer in already?! Didn't we warn ye?

RetroGrandma (Charlene) probably doesn't know either. It's all symbolic, very mutant. Just be aware that you get to pass them along to the next victi...err, nubie.

You started at the beginning of the thread? Broom & dustpan, or mop, are buried in there somewhere amongst 4 1/2 years worth of posts. Good luck!

BTW, I'm Sue, DH is Martin (who is dyed in the wool English). Part-timers, we live most of the year on a farm in IL, travel w/cats, spinning wheel, knitting & other craft paraphernalia.

Tell us a bit about yourself, whatever you're comfortable with sharing. It helps us know who we are harassing!

Cheers!
