There may be a mini or even a midi-c down in a few days or so.
Earlene made a Tres Leche cake. I told her to make the one without the calories and carbs in it. It turned out real yummy. Ed and Jackie took some home with them. We'll find out their verdict later.

You know Wayne, I'm not sure what happened to the cake. Once it got carried into the motorhome it vanished
Man was it yummy.

Yep we're in the same boat with a non-standard parking lot purchase. You just hope what you have to invest in her doesn't cost you more than it'd have cost ya brand new. Have fun at the RV show this weekend!
Ewwww! What is that? Wait, it's green! Did you kill some ants with that?
I did have fun at the show. So many people, HUUUGE rigs. There were some pretty interesting pet contraptions too. One was a wagon with a small camper set on it with three little poodles riding in it.
So far so good on the new old home. Not a problem driving over 300 miles. I just have to check out the inner systems now.
|
300 miles is a great start! Sounds like you're stoked & ready to go. See you on the rainbow soon, I hope!
Cheers!

So far, just gusty wind. We get to watch until 4 am.
Martin gave me the watch. Isn't he good to me?

Hey, Wayne, where are Ed & Jackie staying? If it's Sandpiper, we won't go there. 🤔
What was the name of the other park where we stayed last time? We didn't do anything stupid there, so we can go back.

Hi Sue....
We are at Galveston Island RV Resort. Its way down on the Island but roomy and quiet. The beach is across the street and we can hear the waves.

I'm surprised it lasted until you got to the MH, oh, wait, you were driving...sorry Jackie.

Ed & Jackie are out in the boondocks near San Luis Pass. I think they wanted to get far enough away from us. (There Tim, now you don't have to say it.)
Last time here you stayed at Marquee on the Bay, and the one next to it is called Galveston Bay RV Resort & Marina. Both very nice.
Yep, I heard that Sandpiper bought a "LOCK CHOCK" in case Martin comes back there. They want to unhook him and then remove the lock chock.
Martin, Sue brought it up!!
If it's any consolation Martin, you didn't damage the MH like the jumping trees do. You just shut off the water and electricity to the RV park for a time being.

glad to hear you guys are okay. Did it ever get to tornado warnings?
Today we're supposed to get a little bit of what you had, potential tornado activity. A little unusual for January, but not unheard of. Everybody be safe and stay dry!
