Speaking of being a great bargainer, y'all saw Denise bargaining with the salesgirl in Los Algodones, She only paid about $5.00 more than the salesgirl had originally asked. To me, after Denise had consumed all those free Margaritas, that was a real bonus.

I've been kicking around the idea of getting a new truck. Nothing really wrong with my old truck and since the hail of a GC it looks like new, it's just 10 yo.

So I drop by a lot the other day after sending Sue and Martin off to Wayne's World. Now I'm normally a pretty nice guy, kind, courteous all that, so I go inside and ask to speak to a salesman. They call one forward and I look around the showroom waiting on him to get there. Very nice corvette was there and a look at the sticker had me wondering how anyone could rationalize that kind of money on a two seater car.

Salesman comes forward and says all the things they train them to say in "Car Sales 101". I tell him I'm looking for a new truck and lay out the must haves and the would be nice to have and the absolute will not have. He clicks around on a computer a few minutes then loads me up in a golf cart. First truck had a will not have but I was nice and looked it over. A look at the sticker set me back a step or two. I could save money and go get the corvette! Just not sure how much hay I can haul with a corvette!

I'm still driving my old one!

PS: Chicken coop starting to come together!

You'll want to be stopping by and check out the birds. Been doing a lot of reading on breeds. There's a lot of them! Got to have at least one that lays green eggs!

I think you're inspired by that piano-playing chicken that was on America's Got Talent last year! It sounds like the act you're building may be a bit different

I do need an accomplishment to my singing! A piano player that works for chicken feed works real well!

When we were in the market to upgrade from our '94 '34ft Georgie Boy, DW said to our group we are "finding Nemo" we found a '99 '38ft Winnebago Ultimate Freedom DP, 1 slide. Now when I drive, I put on my captains hat and become Capt Nemo!

Eyephoto came about from a career in the Navy as a photographer, then getting out, went to work for a group of ophthalmologist. I photo became Eyephoto.

Nemo went into the shop because we store in the driveway of our rental property. Renter didn't set the E-brake and hit the front. Two of the front panels need to be repaired. but all three are going to be repainted.

Glad this is done before camping season! Next week is the RV show in St Louis. Just Looking!

May we stop by in spring to check all this out? The babies will still be pullets, so no eggs yet, but such fun to watch & listen to. How many are you planning for?

My friends just lost the last 3 of their guinea hens to another mink, and the new layer chicks are just over a month old. No eggs there either. 😕

Short stilts, no guy wires needed. Maybe chicken legs. (Google Baba Yaga, Russian folk tale.)

The hut on Fowl's Legs? Between that and Cluckerachie there, we're getting into a musical mood of some kind (may be getting close to Ray Steven's version of 'In the Mood").
Speaking of which, so Charlene is another songwriter on here? Where is this 'other' thread where I can find it, or is on Farcebook or somewhere else I don't go?
