Little music and car show in the park today. I picked up a new laptop today and spending my toothless leisure getting it setup. Then the old one needs to be closed out etc.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I believe ya; thousands wouldn't! I've been avoided on flimsier excuses.

Thanks for not sharing! We miss y'all too, but there's still time. And possibly even better weather, d'ya reckon? ☔️

Well, the next several days it will be in the low to middle 60's for the most part. Feb 10th it goes to 72˚. Don't forget the Houston RV Show 7-11. I would go on the 7th or 8th as all the vendors are not completely set up and many of the RV's re still being brought in.

My dad used to do that to me when I was little and then did it to my kids. Brings back memories.

This is a welcome site. While I can't say it's been cold in any real sense, 38 to 40 degree mornings are cool. Somehow the heat pumps manage. As is always the case, in our limited experience, the wind is the problem. A nice little breeze is welcome in the sunshine but it makes the shade a little too cool. And what is often so desirable - a full shade - all day long patio has been kind of a bummer. But it's going to be nice the next week or so!

Well, Steve-O, I'd trade ya for those 40 degree mornings in a heartbeat!

Somewhere mixed amongst the 73k posts here, I've mentioned a time or two that Annie is from Normal. Mom keeps us up to date on the weather back your way. But don't forget. Down here it's a dry cold!

To those who've had their pearly whites removed... it will be a week tomorrow since the surgery. Conditions seem to be improving except the 2:30 am wake up call. The gums are hollering at me. Moisture - water - ouch. Get up and get a drink. Talkative at that hour is no bueno.

Take tylenol before you go to bed.
Also there is a new Oragel mouthwash. Larry also had some lidocaine mouthwash but it is rx. Sleep with your head elevated or in recliner.

Steve I feel your pain. Yep it's been a year since the extraction, the implant the implant failure and going without that one tooth way back in the back of my mouth is awful. I'm sure you'll have more sympathy for me than Larry exhibited at our mini-c.

There are several artificial saliva products that you might spray on at bedtime that might keep your guns moist all night. ( Not a joke, Dry Mouth is the name of one but their are others ) Check your local pharmacies!

I bet you $500 that you're not receiving any sympathy from Dennis and Marcie. Their winter is actually winter. They think you're experiencing a heat wave.

Thanks ^^^ for the advice on the screaming gum wakeup call! They mouth wash they prescribed in Mexico is very effective. And I've been surprised at the sublingual pill for swelling. It actually helps. The 800 mg ibuprofen and amoxicillia will be with me for a while.

Steve - hope you and Mary Ann are having a great time. Looks like you're really enjoying yourselves.
