I'm still climbing the learning curve on the new laptop. First touch screen and Windows ink digital pen. I was able to tether to my phone and update / download the software and download Office. Very smooth. I haven't tried the optical drive yet, but so far so good!

Thanks Jeff. Actually the issues aren't to bad considering the totality of the surgery. All uppers gone and 8 originals left on the bottom. It just goes with the territory. If the bone graphs and stitches all hang together I should be much better in a week or so.

About the same, just slight chest congestion. Hoping it will not affect the hand surgery on the 31st.

Ok y'all Ray has been in surgery since 8:30am they just called mom(Jan) and they are doing the valve now. And he is doing very well they took vanes from his leg and attached one side of them and will attach the other side after the new valve is in. Please keep the prayers and ohms coming. From Dwayne

Update from Dwayne:

Ray is in recovery everything went very well mom has not seen him yet but he will have a with out better words a Hart shocker till tomorrow. Not sure what it's really called. But he is doing very good per the doctor that did the surgery. So let's take a breath and shift the prayers and ohms to a speedy recovery. Thank y'all so much.

If you are taking opiod pain meds they will dry out your mouth. Switch to an over the counter med and it should get better.

You might want to call your surgeon's office tomorrow. They won’t knock you out for an elective surgery if you are congested.
