Well it's about time, wondered when someone would say that!

So, if the plural of mouse is mice, why not house/hice?

Or, plural of goose is geese, why not moose/meese?

I'm confused, that's why I'm here.

Oh wait, I did see your plate at the last GC.
That plate is nothing. You should see me lifting myself out of a low chair.

And a paramecium (sp?) is not a pair either. Did Alan Sherman sneak in here somewhere?

Now here's a spooky thing I've just learned from an article. Recently, I've been getting notifications on the phone from Google saying things like " so how did you like the Walmart you've just visited?" and requesting a rating. That's a little intrusive I feel but not half as much as what I discovered from that article. If you go to the Google Maps app, open the drop-down menu and click on 'your timeline', you will get a very detailed description of your daily travel activities.
Witness the following screenshots of us on Jan 22

It shows the time we left the Downtown RV park, our drive to Di and Larry's, the time we spent with them at their house (the precise address is not shown) then our drive to Tim and Mary's and our stay with them at the FEVC.

These daily records of travel activities go back well into last year. Does Google provide this feature as a nice service to us or is it just another way of getting targeted ads to us. The only way, it seems, to disable this monitoring is to dis-allow access to your location but then that would make the app pretty useless.

I was totally unaware of this but then I may be in the minority. Any comments.

FYI; The map Martin showed actually leads to a military facility that is behind gates and heavily fortified. Unannounced guest are shot then questioned. Pay no attention to the baby calfs or wandering chickens. They are part of the camouflage!

Pole the mutants!

Of those planning on attending the FEUMIGC, how LONG are you planning on staying? We are looking at arriving several days early as opposed to staying afterwards, will be making dash back home to ready the deer camp. What are others planning?

Gonna arrive the weekend before and leave on end day. But no mad dash. Setting driving limits for us now.

Since we spent 2 months in the area in 2016. We are coming to visit peeps

Martin, my location feature is turned off. I don't want my phone to know where I am even if I don't.

Really? Just have Mary smack you upside the head.
That would be poll, (dance)..... not pole dance. Obliviously you have spent tooooo much time in the woods with Internet connectivity.

Martin,

Big Brother is watching everything we do, there's no doubt about that. If I was doing something illegal it would probably bother me, but in some ways it's comforting to know that I could be more easily found should I get lost or injured away from home. At least they should know where to start looking for me.
