I remember that trap well. It was a clear blue jay bird day but the wind was wicked. I was captaining the vessel, the one called Tahoe when first mate Dave spotted the trap on our port side. Quick maneuvering, something I learned from a Chicago driver, brought us safely to doc next to the trap. First mate Dave although long in age was quick to hopp out on a retrieve. Barking orders like a seasoned deck master I was instructed to leave the comfort of my helm and aid in hoisting aboard the lobster trap! It was like it was just yesterday! I b ready for more lobstah!

Better elec tape than duct tape! Means you aren't really a redneck. [emoji12]
You got a gem there, something to keep your mind active ... whether you want that or not! [emoji57] It can be a hilly ride, this rainbow we're on!

Border crossing fact or fiction?
I thought they saw Queen Ann and they let us through because of her royalty.
However, I pondered for a long time, and just now think there was another answer. . . . . .
Tip: They didn't ask for any ID from me, they just asked me to show them my neck under my shirt.
Do you think it was my "RedNeck" that proved I belonged south of the border?
Anyway, that was some run to the border to get ahead of you two... Lets do it again!

Good morning. Plans today are....
Oh, Superbowl party this evening with the RVMutants in our area. Smorgasbord food for all.
To coin, and modify, a phrase from the Texas Boomers, "Life is sweet when the RVMutants meet!"

How do the boomers know about the Mutants?
Someone telling?
Are they jealous cause their not sweet, or they come from Tx?
So how's the recovery coming?
Go Brady! Whichever team he's on.

Two mini-Cs in one day! Judy and Kerry, RVM97, joined me out in the desert yesterday afternoon. BTW they are from California. Chatting with them made me late for dinner at Silly Al's Pizza in Q last night where I joined Dwayne and Shara and Jeff and Marcia for dinner.
I must be living right! There's plenty of room here for many more Muteys, but this is boondocking at it's best. No hookups.

Movin' on
Caught up on all your impotant stuff. Now a check-in from us.
Got out of MI on a very cold day. Bee line to Gulfport,MS then the mosey West begins. Next was Hackberry,LA (look that up) now in RockportTX and movin' on to Del Rio,TX for a week. Any mutants in this or Del Rio area?
You want lure the CA mutants to NV you could try a $100 gaming card. I am sure the treasury could stand it because I don't see our dues being spent on any worthwhile projects.
I live less than 50 miles from the FEMIGC but wont be attending. I sounded off before about their money grubbing policies. Have to buy their wood is just one of them. If I wanted to come visit you all they would charge us a fee.

It's not the money. It's the principal.
The Northern Michigan economy is tourist driven, about 40% of our summer economy, and I hate it when businesses rip off our guests. Tourist are known as fudgies in these parts. When you get here you will figure out why. Or ask me and I will tell ya.
I may change my mind and attend for a few days but those days are getting close to our bow season opener for whitetail deer. Have to prepare ya know.

t55watson, you are correct!
We are RV Mutants and also tourists, and also chose to visit MI and become Pasty eating Yoopers.
I see it all as fun as we can be, camaraderie at its finest, and a superb reason to Mutate. [emoji304]

My dad always called money grubbing places a "tourist trap"...
I have known MANY, like Orlando, Several places in California, I could go on & on...
We are just going to visit with our Mutant family, in spite of Wayne & Tim being there...
Hope to meet you somewhere on the rainbow..
