I did notice that.

My team didn't win! Oh, wait, they were not playing. Oh well, there is always next year.

To explain the pain, has anyone ever stepped on a nail that just barley punctured the sole of the shoe. Small bone bruise. Basically that's what the hand felt like the first 24 hours.

Each day seems to be better until I forget and use the right hand for something I shouldn't do. Sends an electrical shock down the fingers. Sort of like hitting the funny bone of the elbow.

It didn't have a lot of other ingredients & I have tried several, maybe this one sounds like one I will try... From the "Old Farmer's Almanac"..

Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 cup medium or whipping cream
2 tablespoons honey
2 cups cooked, mashed rutabaga (about 1 pound)
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon salt
9-inch partially baked pie shell

Maybe while at the FEUMGC I will find the perfect taste I am looking for..

We were the poor souls that survived with things like this & Liked it..

Now, all the Rutabaga pies seem to have Strawberries in the recipe.. Not for me.

Great memories!!
NOTHING is as good as we remember, especially when it comes to Granny's cooking. Good luck, Richard!

Before I had carpal tunnel surgery I had a funny bone reaction whenever the underside of my wrist bumped into something firm - like the front edge of the cash register drawer when I was managing a 7-11 store in Arlington, TX. That electric shock hurts! Ohmms, Wayne.

I not only hear you, Wayne, I feel it!
Carpal tunnel was my buddy for about 2 years. The brace etc for the right wrist was on for months, and the ergonomic workstation was my work platform throughout the battle.
The ultimate solution was to never Mouse with the right ever again. I still Mouse left!
Now, my question is will CTS mess up my right index finger?

Learn to pick your nose with the other hand.

CTS can mess up all the fingers of the hand. Feels like they are asleep. Hope the surgery lets it get back to normal.

Normal - is that a place.

Some times old habits are difficult to stop.

Like zipping up the pants and having to use the left hand. They don't make men's jeans for lefties.
