Yesterday Dave and Nola surprised Annie with a birthday bouquet and cheesecake! The 4 of us went for fish and chips at Mr Fish. Delicious as always. Of course I had the chowda. We said our see ya soons and I guess they're headed north by now. We probably won't see them again till the fall. Always sad to see mutants head out on the rainbow. But then again, that's who we are. So safe travels Mr and Mrs Poobah!

Mornin' folks,

First cup of coffee since my surgery, clearing away the cobwebs. Oh boy. Feels good. Each time I nap, I feel a little bit better, a little bit of energy slowly coming back. The bleeding has mostly stopped, but my "head feels like a football". Still lots of swelling. But its okay. They said the first few days are the roughest.

Sad day! Two more RVMutants departed our area. We will miss Ed and Jackie. They have been great to be around, as always with RVMutants.

Safe travels you two.

Thanks... we enjoyed visiting you guys, thanks for the hospitality.

We have landed the Eagle a day early at Fountainebleau State Park, north of New Orleans. Our oldest GS turns 18 this weekend so our daughter is bringing him down to join us so we can explore New Orleans.

School for GS was canceled today as they had heavy fog. rising temps with s##w on the ground, so they left earlier than planned.

It was great having time to spend w/youse, too, and I love the idea that you'll be nearby part of the summer. Woot! for mutant happ'nin's!

New Orleans will be a hoot, an eye opener, and foodie pleasure. Beignets, alligator meat on a stick, fresh seafood ... all good stuff! You might want to get outta Dodge by late afternoon, though. Not only does it get rowdy, but it also begins to smell bad.

Cheers!

Oh are you going to love these folks! And you get to meet 6 at the first go. Keep all those names straight, now, cuz you know there'll be a snap quiz!

Cheers, and all the best! You've worked hard for this life style upgrade and I am impressed. Have a blast!

What we get for doodling along ... we've missed the Poobahs. This time. The rainbow continues to roll out ahead of us, though, so I'm looking forward to MI.

Wonder if they still do fish boils up there. That would be fun! Anybody here been to one? Tell us about it!

Annie, Sweet Annie, happy birthday belatedly. Glad they threw you a party!

Napping is good. Napping helps you feel better. Napping is really good.

Glad you're on the mend. You'll be in tiptop condition when we finally get to meet you! Cheers!

Can't say I've ever boiled any fish. Must be a northern thang!
