See, those size birds need a really clear area to land/take off from. Landing on trees with lots of branches doesn't really work well for them, unless the branches are far and few between.

I've been watching the birds around here a lot and they love to just glide in the air currents, although there is one pair they love to mess with each other and bang their wings into the other guy to throw them off. Once they were so low and close to me you could actually hear the feathers whacking each other, it was funny. And just this one pair it seems, the others are much more into the elegancy of flight.

Isn't it amazing what stories you see played out if you only pay attention? I love it when these things happen right in front of me, & nice to know others who enjoy it too.

Cheers!

Nobody ran me off. Sometimes I'm just antisocial.

Part was because a dentist decided to torture me the next day. I have a strong fear of them, and they made me wait almost a week for the appointment, then made me wait for over an hour in the waiting room hearing and smelling them. I googled another dentist while I was there and called one. Gave me an appointment the next day, and had me in and out in less than 40 minutes. Awesome dentist. Dr Blake H Weber.

Welcome back Carol, hope your dental problems are all taken care of! Also hope your RV issues are getting fewer as you take care of issues one at a time. Of course I was kidding thinking Di and Larry or Queen Ann might have run you off.

We all know whom the likely culprit would be, ah hum, right Richard. Sorry we can't be more help with dental or mechanical problems but hogging a conversation and over eating we're good at.

I was tempted to take the blame, HOWEVER, when I am sitting next to Queen Ann, no one ever notices me & glad to have me chauffer her to events.

Dang..... think we all understand dental issues... we had to find a new one last year.... but they are not my fav types of medical personnel either

And mechanical.... i am clueless on that... i can do building stuff but not machines.

Glad you are still here..... we do have others who can advise you...

Motor home spaces are at a premium but there's often a short stay site available. MH site rent has gone up to $48 a night with the new ownership. Our park is now called River Vista RV Village. New company owning the place is Cove Communities based in Phoenix, AZ.

If we're full, Bokobird's park is 5 minutes away (Tampa South RV Resort).

Come on down.
