Hey Tim, are those English walnuts or black walnuts? The tastes are very much different; both good, but different. The English ones are much easier to open.

Tom I'm not even sure. There a nuisances as far as I'm concerned. I would have already cut and burned them but I know there's a craftsman out here somewhere that might make something great out of the wood. We had a couple loads of pine removed around them but the logger couldn't find anyone that wanted the Walnut so I told him to just leave them.

RVMoon & the evening star following the sun over the western horizon earlier tonight. Eucalyptus are among the framing trees. I hope y'all took a look, too!
The phone camera can't do it justice, of course.

I saw that moon on my way back from my sisters Sunday dinner. I got birdies settled in and such, grabbed my camera to go take a shot and couldn't find it anymore!!! Arggggg, missed it! So I appreciate your shot, it was an interesting picture for sure.

You should have marked the walnut trees with an "X" so the lightening had a targetl

Tom ask me if they were Black Walnuts or English Walnuts. I went down to pasture and talked Jive to them, no answer, then I did my best Martin impression and still no reply. Must be mute.
