That sounds like a General store. One stop shopping for that shotgun wedding. Hardware for the the bridal registry. No fancy china and silver tea service for those folks. Ammo and tractor parts are the wedding gifts.

I've almost stopped laughing about spreading your nuts around. Wait a minute, not done yet.

Ok, maybe now. Nope.
I was wondering why I was going on the list instead of the lust.

Black walnuts give off a poison that keeps anything from growing around them. So it sounds like it's not black if berries are growing under them.

Sue and I just got caught up on our Chinese cuisine which we have been missing for a while. In the little restaurant (called Big Wa) we found a Dominos Pizza girl delivering a pile of boxes for the staff. Our waiter said they do get tired of chinese fare sometimes. So, we were then treated to the sight of about ten chinese staff chomping down on Pizza. I did not feel it right to take a POP of them eating but here's proof of some of the debris.

Calling all Arkies, seriously, I need to get on top of my van to recaulk the fantastic fan. I don't want to walk around up there on the 22 year old fiberglass, just want to lean over the side. Any ideas or ladders available? I tried my foldable ladder before I left Florida, but the van sides are curved and I didn't have a spotter.

Also, where do you go to get propane pumped into RV?

There will be propane stores all over , just Google propane for the area you are in , also U-Haul sells propane . As far as your fan getting caulked check in the office of the campground you are in for mobile RV services and try to get recommendations , they will come to you , and there is always Google , or Yelp ... Good Luck !!

Carol.... I have lots of ladders.... and other tools, just not able to help you yse them..... i admire your DIY ability.... i can do construction just not mechanical....

propane closest and easiest at UHAUL on Kanis near you, probably just a few miles.... 12th actually turns into Kanis right before that, the Uhaul on your right.... if you are going west.

Carol,

The best prices on propane can usually be found at the local propane company, like Ferrel's or Amerigas, or at Tractor Supply store. U-haul is normally on the high side of the market.

I usually Google "propane refill" in whatever town I’m near. Without the word "refill" you'll get a list of swap out tank places.

The girls and I went gold mining with Dwayne and Shara today. Actually we mostly disrupted them as they mined. Boy that is hard, dirty work! But we had great fun just being out in the desert with them. I even came home with a bit of the treasure thanks to their generosity. PoP later. I'm too tired tonight.
