Also wish more would sign up for the

FEUMGC. Heard through the grapevine that JNE signed up. How many does that make?
We had 25 sites reserved up to April 1. JNE would make it 22 that have plans for being in attendance. CG has lots of room (600 sites) but latecomers may not be real close to us. Maybe some see that as a blessing.

Thanks Steve. Twenty-two is a good showing/participation. Knowing very well that one cannot make every one.

Ever felt like you've had one of those days when you've been messed around?
We got here (Velocity Freightliner, Tucson) yesterday pm and went through check in process. All details like VIN, odo reading, phone no.etc taken and job no. placed in window. Two small items to do: Fit air filter we had bought from them at the rally and deal with ABS light, already diagnosed by F. tech last fall as being caused by faulty sensor on right tag wheel.
Stayed in their FHU site last night and rolled in just after 7am today. A tech drove it away and we went into their RV waiting room. Two hours pass and I get a phone call from the front desk asking when I would be bringing the rig in - the tech is waiting! I'm then told that I should have spoken to him earlier to check in!
Duh....
Six hours later, yes, 6, with no progress reports (the techs are at lunch, he's working on another unit, the techs are at a meeting) we get called to the desk. Good news : the air filter has been fitted. Bad news: the ABS diagnosis shows a faulty sensor and the wheel needs to be taken off so the 'star wheel' can be cleaned. (Something I told them as the probable reason for the fault at the outset). Oh, and the techs go home at 4pm.
So, we're back outside, freecamping again.

Well, we might just swing by again. The weather up north does not look inviting. A little bit worried about not making it up our farm lane in the mud.

What Martin didn't mention (did he?) is another couple who is in here, having had the "stop engine" light go on on their 9 yo Tiffin DP. Their bill looks to be ... hold into your hats! ... between $11 & 15,000, with half due before parts will even be ordered.

OMG!!! Things happpen, yes, but this? What do you first, after you've quit screaming & crying & tearing out your hair? Besides get drunk, I mean.
