We're just now rolling down the hill into Cruces. Love it! I believe I could spend time in NM quite happily.
Now, however, we're pushing on a bit to get into TX. It seems we know folks over yonder.
Cheers!
PS: Better put that beer back in the fridge ... & keep Don out of it!

Beer is cold. We like Las Cruces and Hacienda RV Resort. Real close to Mesilla and the little Pepper Shop just before Mesilla on the left.
Wow, you could be here on Friday the 13th along with Don. Mini C, Mini C.

Okay another question. We know we need to replace, or at least recover, the sofa and dinette cushions. The foam itself is in surprisingly good shape for its age, not crumbling at all. There's no batting around the foam but it's good high density and still firm.
I do sew and could make new covers. But it may be cheaper to buy high quality indoor/outdoor patio furniture cushions than it would be to buy the fabric.
The foam we have is 4", we can get up to 5" in the patio furniture cushions. Assuming we can get ones that fit, of course. But they make cushions for outdoor loveseats that look like they may do just what we need.
Has anyone re-covered, or re-cushioned their jacknife sofa?
Charlene

We've been to Hacienda and, further down the street, Siesta. H. is fancier than we need, & Siesta suits us better (partly cuz it saves money for more important things 😎 .
Dang! We shoulda stopped & brought youse a ristra! Nvr mnd ... I'll grow you some this summer.
We've landed up in Mountain View park on the east side of Van Horn, where we stopped in Feb. It lives up to its name, so w/ any luck we'll get to see the magic 10 (ir is it 15?) minutes on the eastern mtns. as the sunset turns them pink.
Hmm, the 13th, eh? It could be our lucky day! Mini-c, yay! Considering Marquee on the Bay again, or maybe the SP on Galveston Isl.

You always hear your more app to have an accident closer to home. Today turning into our road we were rear ended hard. The Tahoe suprisingly was not damaged as bad as I thought, seems the car that hit us went under us crumpling His car back to windshield. We're ok, sore but ok.
On a brighter note my deer camp camper that had the tree fall on it sold today. Advertised as a fixer upper I had three people come out tonight to look at it, first one had the cash! Now I've got to go shopping!

Ummm, is there a difference? I think the answer is "yes!"
The current plan, carved decisively in Jello, is to head across to see W&E, possibly Jne & Dave, then meander (good word!) along the Gulf coast till the weather improves at home. We can suss out possible parks for next year, in case we decide to snowbird there for a change.
How are you doing? I'm doing my best to give you vicarious experiences. Barb's daily travel notes must be good medicine for your soul.
Is it spring in KS yet, or does your spring behave like IL's fickle weather?
