Hi Di...

I agree that was a very smart investment.
Do you exercise and test the generator on a regular schedule?
Just a thought...

Thank you, Lady Bird!

Texas bluebonnets, of course, followed by what looks to be related to the lavendars (no scent, though), & what might be one of the milkweeds.

This was just a picnic stop on I-10, around mile 480 maybe. West of mile 500 anyway. It's a good stop.

Most full residence, building systems work that way, they auto test to ensure all systems are in operating order.

There's an assisted living complex next to me, around 1,000 feet through the woods. Every week or so (not sure on the schedule), you can hear that generator crank up and do its test. In times we've lost power, that thing is cranking 24x7. Noisier in winter months than summer due to lack of leaves on the trees.

Oh yeah! Maybe a running MC, if not a rolling one. Running right through our RV5Anniversay, too. (If, for a change, I'm right.)

Oh, that Hayden! Checking it all out, isn't she? It seems, along w/ her, there is a fine crop of young mutants coming along.

Good wing shot, but what I really like is those yellow feet positioned to grab the wire. (Call me weird...)

I didn't know that about lower res on burst. Thanks.

It's not so much lower res as it is certain capabilities of the camera are reduced, at least on mine, which isn't a slouch of a camera (Nikon D750). Mainly impacts autofocusing I believe for mine, which when you're under the gun, you're not manually focusing each shot, those are called portraits The burst rates are based on res and camera capabilities, I think mine will do like 7 shots a second up to 18 or so, then the buffer fills up. That's what worries me more than anything, filling up the buffer, which is why I tend to just stay in single click mode. I'm still learning this thing as there's so much to learn...

Oh yea, he didn't land on the wire, that's for sure, landed on the pole but it really did look like that was his target, even watching it realtime.

Sorry, only front ends. Miya would love it here! And there's grass! Green stuff!

One more easy day to Galveston.

Don & Sandee? Jne & Dave? Bob & Cindy? (Did I remember her name? Correct me & I'll get it!) Who else?

Ooo, that makes at least 5 couples. How many things can we do in units of 5 for the anniversary? Ring toss? Pie eating? Pie throwing? Oh boy!

It's Jeff & Marcia coming this way, isn't it? Haven't seen y'all forever. We need to catch up! When might you peer over the horizon? Or should that be "appear"?
