However, I got so FAR OUT, lost cell service, useless internet service & truly in the sticks. Sorry, it was an environmental forced tech down time & painful.

I will begin the ketsup on this thread now that we are back to civilization & I brought Queen Ann home from the hospital today. She finally got the heart "watchman" installed & did well.

First, a special THANKS to Tim & Mary for visiting us in the hospital, they are special Mutants!!!

You coulda told us she was in..... however my cold would have prevented a visit..... ohms..

Have you heard about the Mutant bacteria discovered in a Japanese landfill? It eats plastic — PET plastic that water bottles are made of.

https://www.theguardian.com/environm...lastic-bottles

Now I wonder what happens when this stuff eventually escapes from a lab somewhere and water bottles made of PET will become an endangered product? What else is made it PET? Anything important on our RVs?

Be careful, Mutants are coming.

Sometimes a comment can be made here on this thread and it's used as a descriptive term for many events. Several years ago I made one of those comments and others (you know who you are) continue to remind the group of my misfortune. Sometimes the event involves an inanimate object that for a lack of a better description becomes part of mutant history. Only a few mutants have made the mutant pilgrimage to visit this historic site and now it's only a thing of the past. We've discussed possibly erecting a marker for mutants to visit in the future but as of now it's just an emptyness occupying the site.

Mutants, the jumping tree is gone! A crew of 5 plus me lowered this fabled tree for the last time. Limbs hauled to a large Bon Fire the trunk to be used as firewood. Never again will this tree attack an unsuspecting camper.

Congratulations Tim! But are you sure one of his buddy trees won’t step in and take over that illustrious position?

Seems like she has had so many health issues & short hospital visits, it is kinda like a visit to the eye doc, or dentist for a filling...

Maybe she has all taken care of now...

But, don't feel too bad, we told her girls, BUT my boys still don't know...

I had already replaced the vent covers with polycarbonate unbreakables after a hailstorm in Oklahoma the year before. My DIY cost was about $200. The solar panels still have dings but they work just fine. Smarty is mostly plastic panels and the hail just bounced off. Other RVMs weren’t as lucky.

Hey, I got a new roof on my MH and my 2007 truck looks brand new. Don't see the problem.

Nice picture of the hail but there is one picture of a baseball size hail in Di's hand! Largest I've ever seen in AR.

2015, Hot Springs, AR, $19,000 damage to the MH. $7,000 to MKX.

Yep, remember it well.

The flood of 2017 was better. Got a good insurance pay-off.
