Hmmm! Wonder if the Miya card or the Earlene card would work. Of course, my good looks get me a lot of discount...laffs.

Di judging from your pictures I can definitely say, I don't have a clue!

Something I thought of that occurred at the state park. It involved the sensors that are in the door fram that fold the steps in when door is closed. Something to look at.

It's my turn

TV problem in the motorhome.

Front tv works fine (over the air and on cable).

Bedroom tv does nothing. It powers up but nothing after that. I need to check the tvs in the bunkbeds area. Don't know if they're working or not (my hunch is they're dead too).

I think my problem, (like I'm the person to know these things. . . . not!), is that some wiring is fouled up between the control center at the front tv area and the tvs further back.

Repairman rewired the front cigarette light a couple of months ago. He chose to rewire it when phone chargers etc. stopped working at that cig. lighter. Did he undo something behind the radio area???

Cable connections are high above and behind the storage compartment forward of the passengers seat. Could be a cable connection has been unconnected????? Maybe.

Anyone have an idea? Rear tv powers up but no evidence that cable connection exists.

My darling wife just reminded me that we got a couple of "over the air" channels before we left Florida in late March. I'll check that again asap.

OK Kwikee step basics

First photo is the step motor, second photo, the box with the wire cluster is the control. Control unit should have a pair of wires leading to and plugged into the motor. Control unit should have a cluster of four or so wires plugged into wiring leading up into the coach on the door latch side. There should be one or two wires (probably green) attached to both the step assembly and the coach frame or other metal structure (these are ground wires and should be checked tor tight attachment and no corrosion). There will probably be another wire leading to a light under there somewhere. Check all wires for attachment and good connections. If all that looks good, head for the back portion of the manual for instructions on how to troubleshoot the electrical system. REDNECK ENGINEERING HINT: If you don't want to obtain an extra 4 connector plug for testing, you can always cut the wires on your existing plug, then splice them back together later with crimp fittings and shrink tubing (just use crimping pliers for a solid connection).
If you're not comfortable with any of this, I suggest you get a mobile RV tech to work on it.
Any chance you could 'borrow' a motor and control unit from another motorhomer you know long enough to attach up and test individually (or pull yours and test on their coach)? Both components are easily removed and reinstalled. Just be sure to return theirs and not try to give them your bad ones...

Papawto5, is your system HDMI? I'm wondering if your HDMI cable to the bedroom has come unhooked. Check all connections for snug is where I would start. Let us know what's happening......Tohmmms

That's T for TV ohmms!

Di & Larry,
Did your door step stay open when the screen door was closed and the main door open?

If so, look for a 3 or 4 brass looking button on the door frame and the door. When the door is closed these make contact with each other and make electronic things happen. Use a pencil eraser and clean them.

If not, check if there is a magnet somewhere on the door frame. Check for continuity. When door is open I think the continuity should be in an open state.

Of course, you could always just carry a step stool and go Arkie Redneck!

p.s., Same steps I have on the Winne and probably on many other MH's.

A ponder:

What's a mutant to do when cooking bacon doesn't smell good any more?

I think I'm in trouble!

Wayne and Electra 225 - - - - HDMI or BOMB????? Which is mine? Lord knows but I don't. All I have that I have in the storage space is a switch for cable or over the air viewing. No command center box like I have with my cable provider in my home. Just cables going to individual TVs in the MH. There's a cable splitter among the various cables behind the switch area.

MH is not immediately available to me. It's in storage at my daughter's farmhouse about 25 minutes from here.
