Been in 80's for several days here. I've made the jump to shorts and this morning Mary announced Tonight We turn on the AC. Yeah, well at least till the electric bill comes in! Countdown, 11 days till state park!

Have resisted turning on the AC...but am close to it...use attic fan and multiply allergies, or open windows and less allergies, but less cool, or hit the switch on the AC....decisions, decisions!

Except for Winter, December 5th, we run the air conditioner all the time.

Okay, sometimes January 5th and February 5th.

Agreed.... open windows make everything inside as yellow as outside, attic fan, which I love and have, just makes it worse....
So AC is intermittent... dang the date, if can pay the bill, will be comfortable...

When my son did the top with the eternabond tape, he also cleaned our unit up there...only thing he didn't do was to comb some of the find that needed straightening. Probably about time to clean puts again ...they sure work better and more efficient when cleaned!

Had an AC repairman friend tell me to at minimum spray some Simple Green on the fins then just flood them with water. No high pressure just lots of water.

Well, he was in school for HVAC and had a kit for cleaning, and all that fun stuff... so he used what he had, but that sounds like it would work ok.

Hi Barb ...

It's rainy and damp here just south of Princeton, TX , but that's ok it's the first rain we've seen in months. We ate just hanging out and relaxing today, perhaps not so much tomorrow, we will just have to see.

May the 4th be with you!

I wish it could take credit for this beauty, but it came in my email today. Sue introduced me to America's Great Outdoors Tumblr updates. They send some amazing photos!
