R U an RV Mutant too?

We had breakfast with Son and DIL plus Avengers: Infinite War. 2.5 hours but it moved swiftly and without having a boring moment.
I haven’t sat still for 2.5 hours without fidgeting in a VERY long time. And it seemed like only 1.5 hours!
Very MUTANT
BTW, children are still very entertaining!
That means all of us!

Speaking of Wayne, ya'll mutants keep visiting him and he is gonna think we like him.... took him 2 weeks to answer my email.... but he did answer with a phone call, so I forgive him...

Busy day, Larry got his driver license renewed.... then we walked through the hometown pharmacy/general store, then a trip to RV so I could clean it out some... that was a lot....

MAY the FOURTH be with you, and Happy Cinco de Mayo tomorrow...
Sunday, two grands and their parents are going with us to the touring production of THE LION KING.....

Di, I saw a Lion King touring production about 10 years ago. It was WONDERFUL! The animal actors make you really believe.

What a day! Y'all wore me out, & I was busy enough myself.

Does anyone remember Euell Gibbons? This evening I was out stalking the wild ...

That stalk was about 8" tall. Dragontail soup tomorrow! 😋

What's funny is how that half mile or so stalking walk looks on the map:

Sure! I remember him, or at least his Grape Nuts commercials. Dragonstail looks like asparagus. What's it taste like? Neat picks! Spring has finally sprung there. :-)

Hi Barb! Happy Spring!

If you've never eaten asparagus or can't eat it for medical reasons, the closest I can come to a similar taste is freshly steamed artichoke. Not much help, maybe. 🤔

A friend & her fam come out at least once a year to pick asparagus. Early on, we both made cream of asparagus soup garnished w/ the tender tops after such a visit, & her son, then about 6, declared there were dragon tails in his bowl. (Look again at the tip.) It's now tradition.

Euell Gibbons' series of "Stalking the ... " came out long before the cereal commercials, & I bought & read 3 of them:
... Wild Asparagus (fruits & veg)
... Wild Herbs (medicinals)
... Blue Eyed Scallop (shoreline seafood).

Some erstwhile friend borrowed my copy of "...WA" & that's the last I saw of it. Copies probably cost a fortune online now. 😕 Maybe Kindle has a version.

Is Twin Falls a regular stopover for you? Do they know you now?

Twin Falls is one of my favorite places so I plan to stop here and restock. It's a small city (44,000) that is filled with friendly people, not a lot of traffic and all my favorite stores - Lowe's, Costco, Walmart, Harbour Freight, etc.

There's lots to see and do. We even kayaked on the Snake River once. I enjoy watching BASE jumpers fly from the bridge over the Snake. The county fairgrounds has a $20/nite RV park that has the most marvelous private shower rooms. Sena and I enjoy scrubbing the travel grime away.

And yes, we are remembered - well at least Sena is. I'm just the chauffeur and sap that pays the bill.

I used to have an asparagus patch when we moved here, not wild... unfortunately, the woman who planted it that lived here prior put it too close to a sycamore tree and it got shaded out over time as the tree grew and spread it's boughs far and wide... and the tree is on the neighbor's property so not too much I could do about it other than dig it up and move it, but by the time that the tree got too big, I was dealing with cancer and had no energy for gardening.
