Pasties are a type of pastry, SarahW... they have meat and veggies in them!

And what all could one put into a pasty anyway? Does it absolutely have to be only meat, potatoes & rutabaga?

We ate at a creperie in France once, where everything but the drinks were seved in crepes. One menu offered all the savory options, while the other carried the sweet varieties. Breakfast, lunch, dinner & dessert, all in crepes.

Why not pasties too? (Lotta starch there!)

We discussed this a lot, and going back to the “scene of the crime” is a challenge that we felt we needed to take on.... after all, we now know which doctor and which hospital to use, one call to our home nurse coordinator, and she will contact the LVAD team in Tampa... we still have our FMCA, and know how well that works.... 3 of my grands live there....

See you in about 4 weeks or so.

Is that a rainbow I see in the background? Or has Wayne recently been giving out with unicorn toots in the area?

Thanks, Marty. I assumed from Dave's post about "PJs" that he meant the other pasties.

Di, is Larry gripping the wheel a wee bit tight? Or is he just not accustomed to having his arms raised for that long? Either way it's a good reason to take it slow. I wonder if pillow in his lap could help support the weight of his arms without interfering with the steering wheel?

The courage you both have displayed through this last 14 months is inspiring to us all.

Ok you Yoopers - how is the word "pasties" pronounced? Like paste, or past?

Morning y'all. Larry have a great trip. Barb from the pic I saw Larry dosn't have room in his lap for a pillow. Yes I know, the kettle is black.

Ed I see your having a hail of a time without us, hope the damage is minimum.

It's early and the wind is blowing in right direction for a cell signal so I'm doing some ketchup reading. Hi Marty hi Sue, Chuck your dauther looked great setting there with Di and Larry, oh and Dave, all three of you, looking forward to yopper speaking lessons at the GC. Now it seems there's someone I'm leaving out, old, round and he thinks he farts rainbows, humm who could it be?

The catfish are biting here in paradise but keep it quiet otherwise RiChard will be dropping in over here.

Carl you've been mighty quiet lately, remember I'm here if you need any technical advice.

Well that's all for now, and remember, "It is what it is, cause you screwed it up".

Tis “past-eeee”
Pie dough, any leftover meats, vegetables, gravy, and some rutabaga. -This was what the miners wives made.
They are much too good for royalty!

But you're from PA, where folks talk funny. Over here in the east, it's pronounced like paste!

Y'all kept this fish report very quiet, however, contrary to many beliefs. I can read words that aren't too large...

Queen Ann plans to prepare 'Ol Minnie Winnie for the long trip to your paradise...
